My favorite thing about this series is knowing there's a man in the UK who thinks Michigan is just one long muddy road, and a terrible one at that. Too bad there can't be a mission trying to keep up with traffic on I-80, though the jacked up Chevy pickup would fit right in
This bloke is definitely an Aussie, he refers to his white western star as a semi, not a lorry, or Sem-eye as Americans call it, that was my first give away 😂 👍🇦🇺
With the drilling parts, I managed to take the shorter route over the bridges, directly to the lumber mill. it is fairly risky yes, but if you've previously towed a sideboard semi over it without the sick ass grinding trick, its not as bad. Just gotta take it slow so you don't risk tipping. On that second wood bridge, you'll stay in 4WD Low, diff locked, and take it as wide as you can without getting your front tire into the soft mud. You can JUST start to drive into it, but i wouldn't get to far off the firm mud if you can. Either way, when you feel you may tip, or you're about to need to turn right, quick-winch onto that inside tree to stabilize. Go very slowly and patiently, and once your front tire gets on the bridge, use up every inch of that bridge that you can. I actually thought my front tire went over the edge, but the hitbox is slightly wider than the texture I suppose. You can also pause and double check that your trailer tires will get onto the bridge, but it is very difficult to reverse and try again. I didn't have to do this, but if you don't think your tires will get onto the bridge, you could probably manually winch the left rear side of your trailer to the tree on the left, and slowly pull while you drive a bit forward, just to keep you stable. Once you're over the second wood bridge before the lumber mill, you're in the clear. Edit: this also saved me about 15-20L of fuel.
Anyone else have a mini heart attack when he didn't shut off the WWS? I mean, it's in the thumbnail for the next vid, so everything must be good. Right? Right?
Loving these videos :) I really think the big cargo items should need the heavy crane though, otherwise what is the point of it? Are there any items in game that are heavy enough to require its use and are you planning on getting one in this play through?
I haven't encountered anything mission critical on the Michigan or Alaska maps that can't be lifted with the standard crane, but the heavy crane does make some jobs much easier, so I'll definitely end up with a dedicated heavy crane vehicle at some stage.
Been following you on my hc playthrough but gotta say that haul from island lake to drummond port was unneccesarily tiring for white western star. Why insist on not buying more capable truck you have 100k money? Sometimes I think you are being unneccesarily efficient.
The way you park the trailers is so neat
Your Westernstar is a beast. Just like an upgraded Fleetstar but better.
That trailer trick; Genius!
Why didn’t I think of that

Pretty sure he's Australian

not only that, most americans think there are snow bears walkning in the streets of norway.
it's really cool how you time- lapse your tuck drives and I also like how you added in the music too to keep it intresting

That way to me trailers is brilliant

It pains me to watch him haul that fleet star around when he's got 100k.
