We were warned to watch our belongings in Cambodia, but we didn't have any negative encounters during our two-month visit. The Khmer people are generally amazing, and we fell in love with the country. Great video, btw! 😊
If you go to coffee shop in Phnom Penh like Koi Starbucks Tube coffee or brown coffee you can left your belongings on the desk and go to the restroom without any worries - this is Cambodia
I think it is absolutely safe. Also, Government has improved and working so hard to protect safety of the citizens. However, you need to take universal precautions.
Anyone finding dangerous situations in Phnom Penh is up to no good. If you're not a sexpat walking around girly bars trying to score drugs from sketchy dudes at 2 am its pretty hard to find anything dangerous besides traffic
I was 6 year old at school and then the doors close and then it was lock I can’t get out and then the glass broke and then I got blood on my hand and feet and I was sent to the hospital hope you guys are safely
Scams are all around the world. I find more scams in Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh and Paris, and even in Tokyo. I think the only place I did not encounter Scams is Singapore.

Been attacked by moto gangs 5 times 13 years in Phnom Penk...My record was 4 times in 20 years in Bangkok...A lot depends on your coming and going hours of course...Anyways...The thieves are highly organized here... Daytime is safer of course... Cheers.
