Fun gameplay, How long did it take you to get used to VR motion sickness? Im brand new to VR and have been playing so much skyrim and fallout, but im limited to a max of a half hour due to be getting VIOLENTLY motion sick

How many hours in total do you have? For me I started in the HARDCORE days... Oculus DK1 was motion blurring trash and I endured right around 15-25 minutes at a time of Half Life 2 without motion controllers!! When the DK2 came out my sessions started getting longer... after playing Alien Isolation weekly for a month my sessions started exceeding one hour, and past that point I became exponentially more tolerant.
      Many pieces of advice:
      1) AVOID ARTIFICIAL ROTATION... this is likely the biggest cause of motion sickness. While it's practical to have thumbstick rotation to realign yourself if you're physically not in a convenient spot, you want to rotate with your BODY as much as possible. Stick rotation is grotesque and will end your session early if used a lot. I have ten years of VR experience and still have not fully accustomed to stick rotation.
      2) Don't ever push it. If you feel the bad dizzy creeping in, put the kit down and live to fight another day.
      3) Try to have your games running as smooth as possible. Graphics quality in VR is overrated... the most important is framerate and reduced latency. Don't be afraid to knock down some settings if you're feeling any judder in the rendering.
Accustoming to VR can take anywhere from a month to a little over a year depending on your usage frequency. With the above tips and other less important things like having a comfortable headset fit will still help stretch those sessions even more.
Hope I was of help to your VR journey and welcome!!
