I'm not sure really, most roads outside of towns & villages are unrestricted here on the Isle of Man. I occasionally do 110 in some places when the roads are quiet!

They're there to lay them to rest.
Just makes me smile. Speed gives this great feeling of pure freedom, unhinged from restrictions and rules.
I’m glad to see the spectators are standing behind the “safety tape” !
These guys are absolutely mental!! The noise wow!
You what's funny about this. When you watvh F1 racing you always secretly want to see a crash, with this it's the complete opposite. It's like unadulterated respect that wants you to see these guys nail it each time. Because god damn that's fucking mental that is...
The pedestrian crossing post has a pillow tied to it so I can assure those of you that are worried, it’s a very safe sport.
It's to protect the post.
Heaven forbid we raise the speed limit in the United States though...
The speed limit is only 30mph where I'm stood. The road is closed so all of the speed limits are voided!
Liam Collister I am saying that 80 mph is a little slow for the highway don't you think?
I'm not sure really, most roads outside of towns & villages are unrestricted here on the Isle of Man. I occasionally do 110 in some places when the roads are quiet!
Andrew Emery Why is 80mph slow? That is much faster than the average motorist can react to. Also the difference between driving at 80mph or say 65mph is likely to be the difference of a few minutes unless you're driving over 50 miles.
+Andrew Emery Seeing how many deaths there are on the Isle of Man each year I'm not sure it would be the best example. As others have mentioned as well, these are not the speed limits
Again love to hear the sound of them bike going that fast with nice food cups of tea & nice weather
Used to live in that village. Walked up round the corner to Primary school. And shopped in the store over the road. Bikes weren't as fast then, but we all stood nearer the road to watch.
Thank god for that orange rope to keep the spectators safe.
This sound is same when a mosquito flies near microphone😂
1:18 to 1:36 is a wee bit epic :)
This is absolutely insane, as to GP racing on a track coming off, maybe few broken bones bursing, come off in this race 80% who have are forever in heaven. The greatest race on the planet.
I have so many TT vids over the years - but still, my reaction is every time until today ; FUUUUCKING HELL, AWSOME !
I can just imagine the old lady who lives in the house opposite trying to pour her cup of tea as the bikes pass and all her fine bone china teaset rattling each time.
She probably makes tea for the riders.
Imagine living In one of those houses and hearing a engine having the scream of a 3 year old every six seconds
They're not doing it every day you know. It's an event
BRING IN ON!
@@grumpy_cat1337 that's why I said every six seconds 😂😂
I can't imagine the death, if a little Rock was on the road
Was thinking the same think bro
Shiiiuuu!
A lad who lived near me died here racing a year or two ago, he was only in his 20's, Daley Mathison he was called.
Jimmy Wait what? How did this convo start? Lol
Nah, bike actually can ignore way more things than you think
one of my best friends rode there on a sidecar outfit heroes they were every one of them, nothing but the highest respect for each and every one
Very easy to understand the the relief of the drivers once you cross the finish line and you've made it through.
the most badass sport ever!
so close outside of a very fast bend without the railing or anything? nope.
This is Isle of Man TT, the most dangerous race in the world. The riders know what they get themselves into.
Don't you see the orange rope ? it is safe
The riders are screwed even if there is a railing. I think his talking about the spectators.
Liam C yep. No place for me when he slides.
If you think this is dangerous, don't ever watch Group B Rally footage from the 80s. :P
Dont have your sound bar on full, Jesus christ !!!! 😄😜😂
One thing its looks like my dad going home from work !! 😂😂
love the sound
“Let me just stand on the OUTSIDE of this curve, I’ll put my bright orange vest on, should be fine...”
rip my ears with the headset on.
I like the padding around the bottom of the pedestrian crossing sign as if that would do anything.
Good they are flying!!!! Imagine the face of the person sat in their front room, reading paper and that flys by your window. Awesome. Every person that enters this race has some skill, hats off.
Amazing skills level
What's the big deal. I do the same thing on my moped. Hehe. Just kidding. I love it those guys are hauling it.
Bae: come over
me: I can't
bae: I'm home alone

Shaun Musgrove his comment is three years old. He may have been the first one lol
such an impressive video... this is the only motorsport that they allow you to get within inches of a vehicle going 170 mph, with no barriers between you.
What a brilliant piece of IOM footage, thanks for uploading and sharing.
In a word: EARGASM!
