My late Dad went many times in the 1940s to mid 70s to the TT and I always remembering him saying after watching Mike Hailwood, “They’ll never get any faster, it’s just not bloody possible” …. I hope he’s watching now…..

I've reached max of 141 on my bike on a highway, these guys are riding at 200+ on curves on a rather narrow road and I don't think they ever use breaks. Phenomenal

I was once in a car that drove top speed 195 km on the Highway. I was scared. But looking at this.... these guy's have balls of steel (and the size on an elephant)
I'm curious about how they set up the suspension to haul around gigantic brass balls. Just to survive the race is the accomplishment of a lifetime.

As a spectator of this race, sat down for hours and when the time came I saw the riders only for two seconds. They are gone just like that.... Even the sound vanished!

Load of crap, you have 40+ riders going past at different times doing up to six laps, so plenty to see! You have the choice to watch at a slower parts of the track if you want. Then there is 3-5 different races a day, over two weeks.

Through all the years I can't believe that an entire group of spectators hasn't been taken out in a major crash.

I love how they put a few inches of padding round all the light poles. If your slapping the rev limited in top gear you could have the Stay Puffed Marshmellow Man from Ghostbusters to run into. It wont make a difference.

If you are one of those spectators and a bike lost control, you would not be able to get out of the way. People act like there are never any crashes. I was a corner worker for MotoGP and I was uncomfortable even behind the Armco barrier.
