Love your work! Used to be a Goldsmith but unfortunately had to leave my career, but you get my creative juices flowing to start again and just do it for the love of crafting.
As beautiful as it is...... it is impossible for me to complete. 3 try’s and I’m over it. Thank you for sharing! I will stick with bracelets n rock wraps. Those I can do AND sell.
Great tutorial ! My very first video on DIY jewelry , and I can try it with what i have, no expensive materials needed, and beautifull unisex ring. I'll try to make one for myself first, would be great if it works out as well as you teached... THANK YOU !!!! a ring (or any project) made by yourself, as a gift, or for yourself, that's priceless in my eyes, so very happy I found your video, i'll be watching alot more !!! 🙂
💚I love your channel, and you give really great directions. I hope you keep making videos, because they are awsome. Thank you, and God bless you and your family.💚
You said "Uncomfortablity" lol. You meant "discomfort. " I thought that was cute. But gorgeous ring. I'm about to try making it. The tutorial is exceptional! You have skills! Thank you!
Very cool. Thanks a bunch for sharing your time with us. I was wondering, if you might have a video that shows how to set a stone into this ring pattern. If I could learn that, it might be all I ever do with my free time. Lol Btw, I've watched quite a few wire wrap video channels on TH-cam lately. Yours is BY FAR the best I've seen. You speak clearly, have good lighting, good camera work, and you just get straight to the point, without ums, uhs, or generally flubbing your way through unnecessary chatter. You're awesome! Definitely subscribed
Thank you Bobi , was totally inspirational . Just been trying to make one myself, think I need a bit more practice , it's harder that it looks to keep it all even and neat , you make it look so easy. But I will persist :)
You do incredible work!! I'm so impressed. Is there any reason not to solder the little bow-tie where you press the cut ends together?? Then when you are using the 29 ga. wire to tine the braid to the outer frame wires, can you drop in a bit of solder in the underside where it would not show?? Please let me know. You work is delightful. Thank you for sharing. AX
Is it possible to make the woven (middle) into a whole ring then attach two separate whole wire rings for the top and bottom? Or is there a reason why it is done in the video?
That's awesome, Sarah. :) Its a truly fulfilling art form!! I have a few other Celtic style jewelry tutorials on etsy, if you would like to check them out!! Also, I'll be producing a celtic cross soon, so keep an eye out. ;)
Great tutorial, just one comment from me.. Get closer to your microphone.. I had my notebook on full vilume, the TH-cam app on full volume, and at times, I had to really listen closely.. Now that I think about it, I guess I could have turned on the closed caption or whatever it is they call it. Just wondering.. If you were to sell this ring at a craft show, how much would you ask? I was into the paracord craze about 10 years ago, had rolls and rolls of 550 cord, then I found a supplier down in Arizone that had LaCrosse cord in a huge amount of colors and patterns. Tied up a bunch of bracelets, key fobs, you name it.. Went to a craft show with all my cordage, my artists easel that I used for measuring the bracelt and holding the inner cords tight so I could do the wrapping/tying on the outside of the cords. I sold ONE bracelet for $5.00... I can't recall the number of people that walked by and I'd hear them say "On my son/daughter knows how to do that.." Her son/daughter might have tied one or two pitiful bracelets to keep one and give one to her bestie.. And now all that paracord stuff she had to have ends up on a yard sale table selling for pennies on the dollar.. I tied my bracelets, critters, necklaces and if I sold any of them, I donated the money to No-Kill animal shelters. It was all a hobby. No way to get rich on it that's for sure..
Hi Bobi Allen, I am just watching this video and my question is...How do you get your wire so damn straight? I love the way you weave. Also using the crafting clips/rubber on ends Happy Holidays All The Best in 2021 Cheers!! Lynn xo
Honestly, I run down them with nylon jaw pliers, or I finger straighten them. The best advice I can give you there is to try and relax your hands and not death grip your wire. I use the 2"spring clamp for that reason also. I hope this helps!!
The video picture is actually the first one that I made with tarnish proof copper for the base wires, and regular copper for the connections and braid.
Hi! Your tutorial is very nice and I liked that ring. But can you explain quicker? It'll be better for your audience and generally for your channel. Thank you!

Would it be possible to add a solitary small bead in the middle?
Is it possible to make the woven (middle) into a whole ring then attach two separate whole wire rings for the top and bottom? Or is there a reason why it is done in the video?
I’ve tried to find a mandrel like yours and I can’t have you got a link for it?
Since they can get snagged on things eventually. Have you tried coating them in UV resin and then polish them to a high gloss?
I have not, but I will give it some serious consideration!! Thank you so much for your suggestion. :)
If I wanted to make a size 10 men's ring how would I make it
Great Video, love this lighting, great microphone and great instructions!!!
Which Xeron Plyers were the small blue ones?
These are the Xuron 450 tweezer nose pliers
@@bobiallen7064 thank you‼️👌🏻
Your braid looks so thick:-)
Do you do a bracelet like your ring?
Can you use 18ga, 20, and 24ga instead of 20ga, 24ga, and 28ga?
Yes, actually. Those are great sizes for making larger rings. Thank you for your question, and I'm so sorry it took so long to answer you!!❤❤
@@bobiallen7064 no worries. Thanks for the answer! I am just learning to wire wrap and wire weave. I have a HUGE obsession with Celtic knots 😍

My wire isn't cooperating. I'm using 20 gauge for frame. 26 for braid. 28 for the rest
👍👌
Nice hands and nails
The video picture looks like it was weathered with paint which is prob what I'll do when finished
