Crafsman this is insane. I have the biggest Stikfas Collection in the country and I thought I was the only one that remembered them. Thank you for this video. They are from 2006 so the plastic on the non Hasbro ones are brittle now. Hasbros still work great. My favorite creator and my favorite toy all in one video. Melting.

I loooooooved Stikfas! When they were a thing I was only able to get my hand on a few, none of which I have anymore. About once every 2-3 years I scour the internet hoping they are still a thing, but alas, it ends in heartbreak every time.

Here's a tip when using a popsicle stick for your stirring device: The curved end prevents you from getting into sharp corners of a mixing cup. Use a pair of side cutters to square off the end so you can get into the corners.

STICKFAS! I worked at Gamestop when they were being sold there in the early 2000s as a kid. They didn't sell well and I loved putting them together and when I first got a 3D printer I found files for them and printed them. I think it's a really cool character rigging platform that was ahead of it's time. I'm excited that you're promoting it. It's got all sorts of holes for backpacks and helmets and new hands and stuff. You can make quadropeds or centipedes. I think it's really neat and I hope the original designers get their credit for it one day. You should email them and do a puppet interview or something. You're the best.

I like to think that TH-cam took away the Dislike button because it was no longer a necessary feature for specifically the Crafsman's channel.

What's INSANE was, last week I was trying to remember this toyline that a friend was sent by Hasbro as a kid as part of market research, it never did too well and I couldn't remember anything about it- until ay 7:29 in this video a XEVOS package appears, and it turns out it's licensed to use the Stikfa system, kind of like Glyos! Crazy coincidence!

:D Super appreciate each one of y'all! Brookes, I was excited for a second thinking TH-cam had done away with the dislike button! :D

You embodied the reasons I loved and hated Stikfas in the first 4 minutes.
Easy to assemble, easy to break.
What I learned is that some were produced by two different companies, meaning they have two different qualities.
For a couple of years, Hasbro had the license to produce Stikfas.
They also produced a short-lived action figure series based on them called Xevoz.
Xevoz were called up to a 6-inch scale, and were incompatible for Stikfas.
Stikfas did have future plans for the action figure line, new molds and bigger figures, as well as getting the rights to produce Evangelion-based kits, but alas, the creator got involved in a sex scandal and all of his plans have gone nowhere.

Hey Crafsman, any plans for doing a video on getting fine details when using Super Sculpey for things like TTRPG miniatures? Fingers and finer details elude me.

I was given one of these guys (no box) years ago. He’s been sitting on my desk at work. I love him. Had no idea he had a name. Love that you made a casting. Great video, but now I want to try it myself and make an army of them. Cool to see the cross over, keep them coming.

The part with the quick shot montage of the assembly of the first figure felt like watching a Gunpla video! :D

I didn’t expect the time travel. But I did time travel. Back to 2004. Having a tackle box full of stikfas weapons, a mavis digital camera that used 3.1” floppies, and a desire to photograph a stikfas in any small environment you can think of. And don’t forget your clear nail polish so you can “re-bulk” your stikfas ball joints. Good times.
