Ely, Nevada! KOA campground, and dinner behind bars, at the Cell Block Steakhouse!

We spend the night at the Ely, Nevada, KOA campground on our way to Vegas and experience Ely's only fine dining at the Cell Block Steakhouse. We had planned on just tenting it at the KOA, but ended up upgrading to a teepee. It was nice not to have to set up and take down everything! They also had chuck wagon style sleeping cabins, as well as plain ol' wooden cabins! A kids play area, badminton net, AND Wonky the Donkey!! For dinner we head to Ely's only fine dining, the Cell Block Steakhouse. The rib and chicken combo was delish, the wait staff attentive, and nobody left hungry.

The mountains on either side do provide nice contrast to the desert plains between them. We stayed at the KOA by Twin Falls, Idaho as well and were super happy with both stays. It had probably been over 20 years since I stayed at a KOA. They're not that cheap, but were clean with good amenities! Thanks again for watching!!
