The graphics in the Food Fight game are better then the animation in the Foodfight movie.
As well as the sound design and the voice acting.

The reason the 7800 was more primitive than the NES is because the 7800 was already worked on years before its release, but when Jack Tramiel, founder of Commodore, left Commodore and went to Atari, he put the 7800 on the backburner in favour of the Atari computers. When the NES was a hit in the US, he decided they could go back into the video game console market with the 7800 project, but it was already dated, so when it came out, it still had the several years old technology. If Jack didn't put the 7800 on the backburner, it could have been something. Hindsight is a bitch.
+Daniël's Tech & Music Channel It's also primitive because it used the same damn sound chip as the Atari 2600, so although some games might have even looked a little better than the NES, they sounded awful.

The thing I miss the most, for some horrible friggin' reason, is TMNT hostess turtle pies
I have no idea why, but for some bizarre reason I crave them to this day. They must have had some kind of addicting chemicals in them. I can vaguely remember the taste, and it's ...vaguely close to the vanilla pies they do make. But for some reason I miss the taste of those pies.
Other than that, I'd like to taste ecto-cooler again. But I don't even vaguely remember what it tasted like

Wow, I haven't seen Food Fight in ages. I remember playing that with my best friend in kindergarten. For some reason throwing the bananas was my primary recollection of this game.

i loved food fight in the arcades,it was cool to see all the different ice cream flavors and i got so excited when i got the instant replays.
The best part about watching avgn through the years was understanding all the regional things around and here in NJ, makes me feel right at home

I've always heard about this game but never saw gameplay footage, This is really interesting for an atari game, picking up items around the stage is so ahead of it's time and the animations are pretty good too.
One of my earliest memories of gaming is of me playing fast food!! Must have been like 1989-1990, fell in love with videogames at that very moment :D.

That tune that plays before the level starts was played with a bugle in the Army to let troops know the mess hall is open.

I loved Food Fight and my 7800. It took a long time to figure out that it wasn't the 2600, I had it when I was 4 and only fleetingly remembered it.

Arthur's Treacher's for me bud. SUCH good chicken&chips(fries). Literally unbeatable batter. There are only 7 left in the whole country, most of which are far away from me in Ohio. Everyone should get an opportunity to have their batter dipped chicken, or fish whichever meat they prefer, it's mind blowing.

Nostalgic comfort foods for me are homemade bean burritos, homemade spaghetti with garlic bread and salad, bbq chicken with potato salad and Hawaiian sweet rolls etc. I love these dishes and they remind me of my childhood.

Food fight! I loved that game as a kid. On the watermelon levels, I would just stand on the watermelons and chuck them in all directions, very rapidly because they don't run out. I was a little disappointed that you didn't do that. You just walked by them and picked it up and walked away each time.

The best burger I ever had was at a place called The Vortex Bar & Grill in Atlanta, GA while I was there for work. It was enormous and full of toppings. They also cooked it to perfection and didn't ruin it by making it too greasy or dry.

Ellio's pizza was a guity pleasure when I was a kid. I never cooked it right. Either in the toaster oven or microwave. Sometimes the crust would be soggy or the pizza would still be half frozen, but I still loved it.
