Exceptional advice here! Freelance vs Agency is a common question I get. Pros + Cons with each, but I like how you discussed it. My general advice: start as a freelancer, then move into an agency. And thanks for the feature of ClientManager - love how you covered it :)
Hey Patrick, So I have a plan, When I start an agency I'll work myself doing every work, after building some testimonial, I will then hire people for doing the design and development part, and lastly when I have clients coming through referral I would hire people to manage the sales, design, SEO and development part, like completely automation. What do you think?
One advice I heard from Chris Doe - Even if you're a freelancer, don't use that word. Either, think of yourself as a One Person Company. It gives a much needed mindset shift to freelancers , as people in general don't associate great things with the word 'Freelancer'. So if you're running a personal brand, it's better to just use 'Web Designer' not a 'Freelance Web Designer'!
At the moment you can have AI help you to create a website with certain platforms. But it's not at the stage where a business owner can just tell AI to create a website, that actually looks good and works well for the business.
Haha I love that you mentioned that. I initially had it as the same colour as the other ones later in the video. But then I thought that it didn’t stick out enough. Looking back, you’re right !💪
Great question. You should definitely still learn webflow in 2024. AI is coming for all our jobs -> but not yet. Right now it’s a tool we can use, and it will only be replacing designers in the near future for small businesses. Let me know what you think :)
Also a good question. I think until ai is ready, it’s going to still take some time. Plus, by offering web design as a service, you will learn how to start a business, client relationships, pricing, offers, content, outreaching and so much more. All this will help with any future business that you start :) Starting at 16 is awesome bro!
Always, but always start as a freelancer then run an Agency. Personally I like the vibe of having an agency, but it also takes so much of your time.@@patrickspiegel

And also big shoutout to Chris Doe 🚀🙏👌
Hi I was just wondering can’t u just create a website with AI or does this not work
At the moment you can have AI help you to create a website with certain platforms.
But it's not at the stage where a business owner can just tell AI to create a website, that actually looks good and works well for the business.
At 0:18 It would look better if you had chosen Purple instead of blue. I guess I'm learning more about UI & it's kind of a bug that sticks to you lol
Haha I love that you mentioned that.
I initially had it as the same colour as the other ones later in the video. But then I thought that it didn’t stick out enough.
Looking back, you’re right !💪
damnn your content, from india🔥🔥
Thank you!!!!
Should I learn web design/development (webflow) in 2024? Won't AI replace my job? And are there still a demand for this?
Great question.
You should definitely still learn webflow in 2024.
AI is coming for all our jobs -> but not yet.
Right now it’s a tool we can use, and it will only be replacing designers in the near future for small businesses.

Thank you for the answer. I am just 16 and I am thinking should I learn web design as a skill to make money in long term or not?@@patrickspiegel

Or better put - Which one do you personally prefer?

Great point. A lot of people immediately want to be an agency owner but don't know if its right for them.
