It's been tough to tell family and friends about my web design business with many of them already in the tech world, but it's time I announce it to all of them
I completely agree-when you’re just starting out, having a full portfolio isn’t necessary. Even just one example site, perhaps something you developed using a template, can go a long way. The key is not to overcomplicate things. Many clients are more than happy to pay for a well-customized template website.
Absolutely! Getting something finished and online at 50% "perfection" is better than trying to get to 100% perfection but never actually getting it online!
It all sounds very simply. And I don't doubt if you throw enough mud it will stick. But there are many obstacles. Local businesses are not as hungry to expand. They simply want to make a reasonable living and sustain themselves. If it's not broken why fix mentality. So asking them to invest into a new website is difficult. The other issue with asking friends of friends and businesses you have already dealt with, if you have taken you advice and niched down, this becomes implausible. All of the above said, your vids are bringing me value and seem to be well thought out and contain workable plans to get started.
I do agree that creating content, in the longer term, can be a way to bring inbound clients, however, how do we learn how to create successful content?
I'll be covering content creation a lot in the Skool, as we have some members starting to create content. Maybe I'll do a video about it sometime in the future
Hi, I work for a company Tristate Designs, they design websites according to the customers needs, I only do the sales work, never landed a client yet, because it's a new company, like one month old, any tips on how to land my first client
Hey im starting my website design business soon and i was thinking to use hostinger as website design and host and offer my clients website design for a flat rate around $2-3k and around $50/m for host (with hostinger acc i can have 100 websites hosted and created from one acc) so one client covers whole account for 100 sites and every other client is pure profit monthly, what do you think about this?
Hello Patrick, I hope you're doing well. I wanted to ask if I could have your permission to recreate this video and add an extra layer of creativity to make it even more engaging. I’d like to provide you with a sample edit to demonstrate how I can enhance the content and significantly boost audience engagement through my video editing skills.
but bro what about those who are watching you from pakistan and let me tell you the local market of pakistan is very bad in terms of selling website and seo to local businesses and they dont even care and moreover they dont even know what is a website . So Patrick , Help me out cuz i am reaching out to USA businesses and Canada Businesses and tell me how can i gain trust of them cuz i am a complete stranger to them . But the plus point in here is that I've my linkedin and insta profile super optimized and also i have my own agency website . so help me out on what offer should i give to the businesses of USA and how can i gain trust . It should be an offer like they cant resist and i would be able to book a meeting with them and then close them on a meeting . Hope you read this out Thankyou in advance

I had a harder time selling free websites than paid ones lol
When in doubt, double down on what's working and spend less time on what's not working. (stop selling free websites)
I've heard a lot of people say the same. Seems like paid is the way to go ;)
Exactly!!

Do you need a creative video editor ?!
No at the moment :)
Why do you keep uploading videos for so long? Do you edit your own videos yourself?
I do, but I also work on website projects so sometimes it takes longer to put these videos together!

Dudeee, I'm from Pakistan too and the local market isn't a thing to work on here, however you can try targeting the local market of a state in the US!
@@syedmuhammadmubeen9363 Yeah bro Im doing cold emailing and cold calls every day , but with cold calls theres a better response rate
I’m so much in this category. Same way it is for the Nigerian market.
