First new order gig I went to at 17. Rumours in the car park before that a gang from Liverpool where coming down for a scuffle. Been seeing them plenty more since then but still remember the first as the best.
Thanks for this, I was there. New Oder played an hour then left the satge and the house lights came up. After about 10 minutes the arena had half emptied and people were queuing to leave in the aisles when the lights went down again and the band came on to do a few more songs including a rare performance of 'Love Will Tear Us Apart'.

No they didn't! There was only one encore, the debut of Shellshock
spent my teenage years near where this place used to too be. had no idea that's what a betfred used to be hahah.

This was my first New Order gig. I don't think they played LWTUA as stated by Prestival Preston. Shellshock was the encore.

I've a few bootlegs in which the tape runs out. Tape management has been an issue for some bootleggers. God bless them anyway!
