Wow, its no Elegia but still good nonetheless. Be good if there was shortened Elegia length version that would fit perfectly on a playlist. All the best from lancashire.
Please excuse my ignorance but did this album come out before or after Peter Saville's extracurricular activities were revealed? Regardless a free form New Order jam is a wonderful thing to discover. I'm a big fan but never heard of this.
@@NYuu05 I did indeed. Thank you for the courteous slap upside the head. Apologies to New Order AND especially Peter Saville. If I know my horror history Jimmy Saville was host of Top of the Pops. So I saw New Order on a show soundtrack and that evil face leered out of the darkness at me. Leave it to a Yank !
it was composed to accompany a retrospective exhibition of Peter Saville's art work at Urbis Manchester in 2004. The soundtrack was available to purchase on CD for the duration of the exhibition.
New Order and Saville are the perfect combination....
+John Field Absolutely!
They should have presented the music to Peter a day after his exhibition finished.
