Hey Kerl. Have a look into Semtech semiconductor, they make and sell the chips needed for lora and lorawan applications. The chip referred to in the video is the sx1262 but there is about 5 different modules. You can also have a look and tinygs.com for track record of people using lora chips for sattelite communication
It is possible (not trivial) to do GPS with certain versions of the RTL-SDR. With the software in your control, you can do your own GPS without fear of it being disabled above a certain velocity or altitude. The Processor to do this is order of magnitude more powerful than the processor required to operate the spacecraft.
Hey, your the first person to ask. I use to have a 3rd channel that was more comical, but was not doing well. I'll upload the video privately and share the link for those that's interested. Thanx for the message
Hey @TheZolon here is the link to the video promised, th-cam.com/video/p-1B-X68ICE/w-d-xo.html happy to get feedback, for some reason people didn't like this approach so that channel was removed.
@@sk0pro853 tthey could be used for the homemade intercontinental ballistic missile that could be launched anywhere in the world. Imagine how much damage could that be.
Next video is due tomorrow! We take about antenna's and the reason for the frequency selection.
Excellent video !!!
Could a thruster on a cubesat be made using calcium carbide and water. As miners once had carbide lamps.
Thank you sir for this video.
So nice of you
Hi, can I have the list of components, especially the chip used on the radio discussion? Thank you.

Hello sir what programming language did you use to write the code and also I wish you could share your code for researcher to understand easily
For your radio look into the RTL-SDR. They are software defined radio and can receive and transmit all in a very small package.

Just stumbled into this, and you mention another channel, but I can't seem to find it. Any chance you can link it in the description?

@EngineerMeThis1 setting up for field day, but will watch soon. :)
Hi, please is it possible to purchase the energy harvester board and the solar panels?
Does this radio device fit under the unlicensed ISU rules? Or is some sort of radio license required?
thank you amazing
great video but you need to dress up that room with some padding it sounds way to sharp
I don’t think I caught the cost and material of the containing box.
Bummer about the cheap GPS chips is that they auto-lock above specific altitude and speed limits to prevent their use in aerospace applications.
Indeed. I think if we were in a world with no dark side we would have access to alot more cool tech we don't even know about
Why would they want to prevent the chips from being used in aerospace applications ? I'm just curious.

@@sk0pro853 they want to prevent the unauthorized constructions of missiles and other weapons and surveillance platforms.
This is a great Video Have you made an instructable? Whats the best way to contact you.
