This looks way easier to do than the end result looks. The directions in this video are really well done.
I've never cosplayed before...but this makes me want to change that.
@@personman1148 hey you only have a little before halloween. you still doing it?
I am going to make another Bloodborne weapon. Which one should I make! Leave a comment..
epicfantasy The Hunters Axe wouldn't be too bad :) (or hard to make)
epicfantasy Think something like Ludwig's Holy Sword or the Hammer Sword would be great. Gotta love the sheath attachment.
This has been hugely helpful! My son is going as the hunter from Bloodborne and he and I have been making his costume. He really wanted the saw cleaver so when we found your tutorial we decided we could make it. So cool! we will be watching more of your tutorials to come!
7 years later still works as a fun weekend project. Thanks for providing the template for free!
I love this so much
Love the guide. Clear, easy to understand instructions.
I've made a metal one, but it is, like most fantasy weapons, seriously unwieldy.
Definitely going to make one of these for a bit of cosplay fun.
Well as seriously unwieldy as it might be its design is to seriously shred some shit out of Werewolves and trolls not comfortable strategy
You make the coolest video's! I love that you can replicate almost anything you put your mind to. You, Sir, inspire me to stop being lazy and start working on all the craft projects I've just shoved in a closet for "another day, " and I love it. Thank you, and keep up the amazing and heartfelt work!
Thank you! Been looking for a tutorial for this for a while, and this was perfect. Awesome work!
I'm going to try my hand at this but I'm going to use EVA foam instead and put a metal rod through the pieces to make it sturdier and maybe figure out a better option for the pins. I love the tutorial it looks amazing!
I would love to see other weapons from Bloodborne, ones that come to mind would be the Threaded Cane and the Beast Claw
I also made my own custom Bloodborne cleaver. It is more of a knife shaped with saw blades, and it does spin.
seriously awesome!! I loved the trick with the t-shirt string, I get the feeling it'll come very handy for many diys!!
for the blade I recommend 'LeadBelcher' from the Games Workshop web-store and for the weathering effect use the paints like 'Agrax Earthshade' or 'Nuln Oil.'
Your tutorial is very easy to follow. I hope to be able to make this over the weekend. I didn't think I'd be able to make a weapon a week before the convention but this video gives me hope. Lol
please do more projects like this, i really like these projects that are more involved and constitute some sort of challenge
Fumbling around with pins would get you killed in Bloodborne
I believe in the actual game there's a small bicycle-lever that you just mash down and it switches modes.
I made my first saw cleaver with this tutorial and template 5 years ago and after many cons, it's still looking pretty good! She's gotten a lot of compliments over the years. Got a few broken teeth and creases that add to the look, but I'm about to make a new one since my skills have improved.
Very impressed, never heard of you before, but I'm subbed now. I loved the quality and detail in description, well done.
I'm on the same boat. Can't wait to see another Bloodborne weapon. The pistols might be too complicated, but it would be great to see what you can do.
Love to make things? Subscribe to this channel? And don't forget to hit the bell icon so you get notified when new projects are uploaded! Thanks!
Would you be able to get the site working ? I can’t find the template anywheres. I wanna make it for Halloween 🎃
this is amazing, its a perfect and affordable way to make the weapons for cosplay! thank you so much!
Absolutely amazing, your videos have always impressed me. Keep up the great work!
This is AMAZING ! Thank you so much for all your videos, you rock!
I subbed, really looking forward to your BloodBorne weapons. You're gonna give me a lot of options this halloween
This is such a wholesome TH-cam channel, I love it
Would LOVE to see you make the Moonlight Great Sword from the Dark Souls series. I would imagine it would be a combo of the Glass sword from Skyrim meets Soul Edge. I challenge you to make that! If you do, please do it all in foam board :)
Great Job as always!
Really good job! I've been really excited about bloodborne! Glad you chose to make this!
you just won a new subscriber, thank you so much for your videos.
Great design! Almost finished with mine right now.
I really like this project. It would definitely look awesome with the mid evil dr. Mask you have already posted. I'm definitely going to use these two projects for my future haunted house costume next Halloween. Thank you so much for your videos.
Really awesome work! You need to put a lever (like from a bicycle brake) to engage the lock, and add a flint & striker to the hinge so that you can legit look like a tru badass when transforming dat weapoon
One small additional detail should be included:
Per game mechanics, the Saw Cleaver deals bonus damage to beasts since it is serrated. However, you only attack with the serrated edge in SHORT FORM. If you look closely at the item in game, the blade is actually sharpened on the non-serrated side, and just like you described, just like a shaving blade.
Attacking with the weapon in it's transformed state uses the flat, non-serrated side. But it's still a sharp edge in game like a shaving blade, so beveling the long edge would be a nice addition.
Going to Michaels to get supplies now!
first video i have seen on this channel i subbed just seeing your other content
will we maybe see a pistol or a blunderbuss to complete the set? The blunderbuss got a rather unique look.
Sand flake I am thinking about doing another trick weapon. Not sure yet though.
epicfantasy if you are still looking into these comments, and are still considering weapons, the Logariius wheel would be fun and interesting to see made.
Thanks! Yes, I am actually working on the next Bloodborne weapon right now! Video coming this week.
Nice tutorial. Easy to do and with cheap materials.
Nice work, Will. A very unique weapon.
I wish I could like this video over and over again! This looks absolute
I just stumbled into ya, and pretty freakin' amazed at your range of cool projects. Definitely subscribing.
Wow that's epic and its great that you make these great videos!
Looks great actually. Even tho the thought imof the transformation attack requiring you to move the pins is hilarious
Thanks so much for this! I love Bloodborne and this looks like a really fun project!
Looks dope, best tutorial i seen
Here's an idea that would be fun to try: Prototype's Blade arm. Would be neat to see how you would be able to make a weapon that is basically like a mutation.
Holy crap dude you are amazing this looks so awesome
6 years late but I'm currently attempting this and even if it doesn't turn out as cool as yours I'm having fun doing it and that's what counts right? Thank you for this video it was super helpful
that was AWESOME!!!! I just got my PS4 and Bloodborne and I love it! I'm going to do a Hunter cosplay for Halloween and I needed a saw-cleaver and now.... I FOUND HOW TO MAKE MY OWN!!!! KYAAA I'M SO HAPPY!!! Your tutorial was so cool! I loved how realistic it looked too I thought it was real at first! This is my first video of yours and it was awesome! you're incredible sir! Daniel Upton THanks, maybe more bloodborne weapons. Not sure yet. If I do another one, which one would be good?
Looks amazing!!!
I just found your channel and, wow, you're amazing! You're definitely going to get a lot of views from doing bloodborne weapons. My personal recommendation would be to make The mercy blades (very simple blades that just need a dowel to be attached), or maybe something bigger, like the hunter axe, ludwig's holy blade or the burial blade! ONE QUESTION THOUGH: You have a lot of video game stuff on your channel. Are you an avid gamer?
So how likely is it for someone to make this in a single day? Haha. This is freaking epic, and your intro is awesome.
Thanks so much. As soon as I can get some foam board im gonna try to make this as my first cosplay weapon
You're very talented sir. Love it!
I'm so making this.
seems rather simple for a complicated weapon!
This is badass! Nice work!
Incredible! Nice job
Just found this, and now I have a custom weapon to bring to the next RenFaire :D Thanks for this!!!
You heard the man. If you aren't subscribed, HIT THAT BUTTON!
This is amazing stuff. I really wanna run get some stuff and make this. Really cool
Damn that's A LOT of work, but worth it! looks awesome. great job sir.
This looks really amazing. Is there a shopinglist on your webside where i can check what materials i need?
Super excellent job on this one bud! If I manage to get some free time to build one I'll send a pic along to you!
You could always use magnets instead of the pins to keep the blade open or closed.
it would be cool to see you create the sword from the game transistor. Great video btw!
This is amazing! I'm definitely making one
Got to say, your project sleep on getting better and better
This summer i will have enough of time to make this weapon ,thanks for the tutorial.
Your videos are great :D You should try making some Final Fantasy swords like Sepheroth's Masamune and Clouds Buster.
Hey this was amazing and i completed my first one !! I had to do it a little different but im hoping its cosplay worthy.
This is fantastic!
I love this guys videos c:
You, my friend earned a new subscriber ^^
its so cool i love this game and the saw cleaver
this inspired me to make this my summer project!
Awesome project!
That looks reeaaaalllyy nice
But can you apply bloodstones?
I got a warm blood gemstone infused with mine, it does 9.78% more physical attack now :D
+CamABeast3 wait till you get to mergos loft and the yarnham chapel you get blood gems for +18% damage
That's insane. Looks exactly like it. I want right now.
That is really amazing, I'm sure you could easily sell this (if copyright isn't an issue), bet people would be more than willing to buy it.
This is awesome! Any plans to do tutorials for any other Bloodborne weapons?
That’s badass man
This is so COOL!!
Along with the darker watered down paints, you could also stain the cloth in tea or coffee to get some more of that worn old look!
This looks fantastic! I'm actually looking to make this myself, but I wanted to know what kind of paper you use for the template and what the dimensions were.
Very cool! Awesome indeed.
Starting this project today for hopefully a cosplay item in the summer, hope i can make mine look as good as yours,
You're seriously awesome.
whoa this is fucking awesome
Iron Pineapple You are everywhere. lol
