Sounds similar to the JDM Steez Shallow Cover Finesse. Love that rod. I'm a ML baitcasting junky. It's pure joy bringing bass in with power BFS tackle.

I fish P5 Bait Finesse now , rated at F3 and I feel like rod is kinda stiff , not much life to tip of the rod , also I dont think its very sensitive, but thats just my opinion .. how would this rod compere ?

I like high end products but I have to limit my rod and reel purchases to 600.00 bucks for the combo and for most average fishermen that is high end. I’m sure that the rod and reel that you are using is awesome but unless you are rich, sponsored by Diawa or own a tackle shop that combo is off limits to most of us average fishermen .

I'm going to pick this steez ct.. just stuck on version.. jdm 2019 or usdm 2021 version .. the usdm that come with hyperdrive design really make different than 2019 jdm version? budget is not a problem just i want buy something worth not just a marketing boost only.. help meeee .. because im from Sydney it take double price including tax for usdm around 1.4k aud .. if just pick the jdm gonna buy from plat.jp only cost around 650 aud .. gonna use for light medium saltwater.
I'll never get used to the drag clicker on a casting reel, even a bfs reel where it's actually kinda useful

We were both throwing a bunch of different things. All the fish catches were on a dropshot. Free rig with lighter weights/baits would be great too, but it’ll get overpowered quickly.
What’s the power like compared to something like the p5 Bait Finesse or x7 super eiger?
It’s similar in power to the destroyer bait finesse.
Interesting, so it’s more of a medium light than light? Might be looking into picking one up to pair with my sv light ltd then.

I’ve replaced some of my spinning reel duties with a Shimano Curado 70 mgl and love these finesse baitcasters. These are a little rich for my blood, but if you’re comfortable with departing with that much $ for a reel and rod, go for it.
