Yeah thats something in this loadout thats pretty subjective to the user and the map you're playing on. In larger maps I might want to use zoom but if I'm expecting somewhat closer engagements I'll run IRNV, plus, IRNV has saved me one more than one occasion from rolling over enemy mines. I really hate the damage models for the BF4 vehicles. The LAV is best suited for distance combat, distance meaning 3-700m. Being point blank with enemy armor is the only way to do real damage, but anything past 100m and you need six reloads and two TOWs to take anything down. They treat 25/30mm high explosive AT shells like paintballs, even against super light armored vehicles like helicopters.

@@mn_cj1910 haha appreciate you stopping and commenting and yeah man sometimes its sweaty but if you're just getting used to it, it will be for a while but you just gotta get used to the movement. But at least with bf4 you're not playing against skill based match making, so the more you improve, the better the reward. Thanks hoss!
Used to be fairly decent with the LAV and tanks. I used to run the same set-up as you do, but i prefer APSFD shells. Hopped on BF4 again yesterday after maybe 2 years and i got stomped. :D
Yeah after playing CoD and some more modern shooters you're gonna get wrecked for the first few hours just getting used to the slow movement lol but of you stay at it, it'll feel more normal after a few days. Glad you're back on bf4!
@@Hitchagood The problem rn is to find a decent server that‘s not lagging like hell and maybe find some decent squadmates to play with. Or at least a good gunner.
@@quatro_quatro yeah its a ton more fun with friends. I played for probably 3 or 4 months before it got popular again and yeah its pretty good but when you got people to communicate with or goof off with its a lot better. So far I haven't experienced too much lag. Now some of the old bf4 usual glitches like getting shot after taking cover are still there but it hasn't been awful. Im east coast though. You in a decently close area to the servers?
@@Hitchagood I live in Germany so i can choose between Frankfurt (the one in Germany...duh) or Amsterdam, because i'm pretty much in the middle. I usually get a good connection but if people from other regions that are not EU, play on an EU-Server, everything seems to go to shit. Same as in Apex Legends for example: Connect to an EU-Server and play with a bunch of dudes from India, which are lagging their way to the top. :D Is there a vehicle that you are hyped about in BF2042? I think i'll switch from tanking/LAVing to using the Little Bird (or whatever the name will be).
@@quatro_quatro dang that is quite the connection conundrum lol I've always loved driving tanks and im looking forward to a tank that holds 4 people in 2042 just to see if the roles those people play will be worth having them in the tank and have active roles. I absolutely cannot dive helis lol more power to ya, cause thats a unique skill set

I like the party lav. Get you and 5 other friends. 5 engies and 1 support with ammo bag. Driver and gunner just aboit never hop out. Support only comes out to give rocket ammo and the three engies come out to repair and shoot rpgs and other dumb fires. However i dont have many friends with battlefield oof
Secondary gunner needs to run soflam.... allows for zoom and gives u free thermal at the same time. Plus if the gunner soflams vehicles the tow missile gets bonus damage and is always a critical hit. HUGE DIFFERENCE.

hell yeah brother I got BF4 on sale it's crazy to be on PC after playing on XBOX 360 so long ago, great game.
Yeah cowboy always played on Xbox and I convinced him to go pc. He says its a big difference lol glad you're hopping back on man!
