- It's the beginning of our gold prospecting trip deep into the outback in Western Australia. After doing the final preparations at home we're onto our first gold nuggets for the trip on day 1.

This was another great episode guys. Loved when you said, “listen to this, this will be deep”, Chrissy. After the first scrap I heard the difference in the tone on the detector … and it was deepish, cool. Clint, don’t forget your bottle bro, I was worried you’d swallow your nuggies, then you’d have to take your detector to the dunny with you to wave the wand over the refuse until you passed the gold lol. Keep talking to the camera as you go, it makes us feel part of the action. Thanks for bringing us with you guys. P.S. that looked like Newman? My Maori mate runs the local Mitre10 there, he’ll always do you a good deal

What a AWESOME way to start... We be praying the GOD will continue blessing you kids... It's now been 12yrs. since I've been physically able to get out and do any detecting of any kind. I ended up giving my detector to my eldest son. Him and his eldest daughter have been using it and have found some nice treasures. Some day when I'm physically able to get back out, I'll buy me a new one.... Much love... BBE..

We’re on our second go around because our original mates passed at a very young age. We found each other by chance and have been together for a wonderful 13 years. Not sure about those flies they would drive me nuts. I'd bring a big fan to sit next to while around camp :) Then i would buy two mini hat fans for detecting :)

Clint, you are tough as..... and so blasé about hem dunny budgies or blowflies. I dry reached in sympathy when I saw the fly commit to examining your gastric tract, Eww horrid.
I was wearing headphones with my back to the screen when all of a sudden I started ducking and waving my arms instinctively, my wife was suddenly concerned! Have I gone mad?
No! It was the sound of the flies at the first way in, sounded so realistic, it was as if I was under attack myself. 😅🤣😂.
P.S Clint you are doing a good job of recording your adventure and as a bonus having Krissy a world-class Editor.

I know what you mean about the dogs. These five haven’t left me since came back from hospital. Clint you do good job with camera. And and yes it seems like a hassle when they go in the store but it’s one of the things I cherish now that she’s gone.

When you left the Pilbara last time just as sizeable NUGS were discovered, I knew the plan was to return. If it is a virgin patch, undiscovered by others, best of luck on finding some large ones. I do know that there are Geo location experts that can find any spot on Earth with minimum information, so be aware that your videos MAY be located.
Claim jumpers are as old as prospecting. Give a pat to Red Dog when you are in Dampier, I had the honour of driving him to 7 mile one time, and also fed him T bones that I liberated from SMQ mess. Winter in Pilbara is as good as it gets.
