Im running dual NVG30S. I shoot at the range with them and they really do work. No blooming effect with muzzle flash. Digital is getting pretty serious
Thats awesome! Glad to hear the bino setup is working well for you shooting and the lack of blooming muzzle flash is a very interesting observation. Would be great to see some video of this if you ever get the chance!
Would you be willing to speak on the 40fps limitation? In video games I really need 60fps minimum and I'm wondering if that's a reference point worthy of holding onto.
I ordered the single NVG-30. Supposed to arrive Sunday hopefully. I had an old school PVS-7, but when I was rushed to MGH in Boston for emergency cancer surgery in Nov of 2022, tweakers broke in, tossed my cabin and made off with my beloved PVS-7. Fortunately for them, they never got to trade it for more meth, as the police found it in the middle of a road. It had been run over. I bought the NVG-30 as a stop-gap until I can swing a new analog and possibly combo set up, so I’m encouraged by the results of the NVG-30. It can’t get here soon enough
Sorry to hear about the tweaker theft.. glad we got the chance to connect via email to troubleshoot the issues you were having focusing device but it seems we have pretty much managed to improve it. Best of luck with the cancer recovery and feel free to reach out if you need any assistance with the device moving forward.
I have looked over lots of your video and none of them point to the sky to see the stars, I am just trying to make my mind if I can get a pair of these for Astrophotography. If possible can you make a video to see on a moonless night and see how they perform for star gazing. Thanks.
Running dual NVG30 and it's pretty solid. I could drive with them in total darkness and they work just fine. My only complain is the battery life but I intend to run a 20000mAh power bank as a counterweight.
@@GoodNiteGear the package with the bino bridge and two devices is great. especialy for that money. but i´m a bit sad about one device. its not possible to get it correct in focus and always locks a bit blurred.

Between this guy and FreedbyJC I was convinced to get an NVG30. I do NOT regret it. The little unit is awesome to say the least.
Great to hear the NVG30 is working out well for you!

Got a bino NVG30 setup. Totally happy with it. Also happy being $7000.00 richer.
Thats awesome! Glad to hear you are satisfied with it and that you were able to save a significant amount of money!

Were you using any kind of supplemental IR lighting to drive with?
