Just picked up a PVS 14 Pro white phosphor from you guys a week ago! Received it and it’s amazing! You guys are dope and I highly recommend them to anyone!
I am a police officer in Brazil, and after watching your video I was very pleased with what I saw. Your tips were very important and the prices are good. I subscribed to the channel. I hope that technology advances so that in the near future we will have even better products at even more attractive prices.
It's crazy these are cheaper than AGM "PVS 14"s. I think I'm gonna buy one. I can buy used Omni blem PVS 14 units for less than 2K but that 10 year warranty is great.
if you read their warranty paid. its sums up that they have a warranty...they will wont uphold. if you hold it in your hand. if you turn it on...denied warranty... smh
Thank you for the kind words homie. We are constantly trying to push the envelope and bring engaging, thoughtful content to the NV world while making it easy to watch.
I wish I'd spotted this video last month, lol. I'm in the process of selling a house and got the deposit payment about 2 weeks ago, but won't be receiving the rest of the money about the weekend before Christmas. This will be quite a Christmas gift to myself if they're still in-stock and available by then.
I always liked the pvs-14 being monocular. Never liked the headmount configuration due to stabilization. I preferred mounting my pvs-14 in front of my acog. A few weeks after Op Red Wings, I was able to engage muzzle flashes as I acquired them with 40mm and 5.56.
Thank you for this. I'm exactly the person for this video and when I do finally get my helmet set up going I think I'll do this. Seems like a no brain, smooth brain thing to do.
You can, for ideal results we suggest getting this done through us to make sure the lenses are collimated for left and right eyes so you can have an ideal image. We can also label which one is left or right. We sell bridges for mounting 2x PVS-14s. coldharboursupply.com/products/cold-harbour-mh14-bridge?_pos=1&_sid=bbc0c3b22&_ss=r
This is absolutely awesome! Completely new to night vision, but are you guys planning on adding an option to order these as a dual tube setup with a dovetail mount straight from the website?
We have similar dual tube setups on our site under the "Starter Kit" section. I would have a look at the 1431 Starter Kit duals if you want the same tubes in a dual setup.
for the price, is it worth it to buy 2 of the pvs14 pro to make binos or do you all suggest an actual premade bino for that price that would be better?
This may be a dumb question but I know very little about NV, can this monocular be turned into a binocular set up? Or would there be clearance/mounting issues?
It is totally possible, you can get a bridge from us (we carry a few options for dual PVS-14 mounts). Or if you want an all in one device the tube and glass can be converted into a true bino by us or a builder.
Damn you really know your stuff. Offloaded my Steele L3 WP 2801 fom pvs a while back and regret it. Love to jump back into NV, but just can't afford 5K+ again right now. This may be a viable option until I can cash up for a good set of binos tbh. Appreciate the info. 🇺🇸🤙
It may, its part of the process with these entry level tubes. However, NNVTs are quite clean from factory and you are very likely to get only some minor peppers on the tube.
@@coldharboursupplythat’s awesome! Very good to know now, going to be in the market soon and want to avoid a used tube to get the best NVD experience, thank you for the reply 🙏 keep up the good work!
He literally went over all the possible accessory and part compatibility for the Jerry 14 - you can mount a COTI or a lens protector/iris on the objective lens, no accessories besides the eyecup on the back lens, and you can't upgrade the Jerry 14 really.
Just snagged this, a little bummed on backorder, but the killer price is more than worth the wait. Is the J-Arm your guys rugged aluminum j-arm that swivels out of view without you having to lift the entire NOD out of sight? Any advice for someone just starting to get into NODs?
If I already have a tube with a higher FOM/SNR than listed for these, would there be issues with bridging this and the higher spec tube, could different specs cause headaches or migraines?
Generally speaking a performance difference won't give you that much grief, but things like a difference in colour tint may be annoying. The more important thing is collimation when bridging two devices. Misalignment or lack of collimation will be the #1 cause for headaches and other fatigue-related issues much more so than a performance difference. Case in point - there's a high chance your two natural eyeballs are probably not identically performing yet your brain has the mental acuity to resolve the image with no issues. For more information on collimation, please see our Resources section or search on our site.
I would assume yes because they are Chinese intensifier tubes but beware in some countries you have layover at could not allow it such as German but also they could try to take them at airport in USA so might want to declare it first but idk on that

This is the FIRST time I've ever seen a NVG setup that's actually obtainable. Will be purchasing ASAP.

Used the pvs 14 during combat training. The lack of depth perception takes some getting used to, but they're a game changer!
I know what I'm getting myself for Christmas. Thank you, just stumbled onto this channel. Your a gem
Sick!
Also lighting looks fantastic guys, it's been sweet seeing you grow but also up the production value every video.
Cheers dudes.

Question:
1. Can I mount two units in tandem for binocular vision
2. What parts needed to to join them and mount

Can we buy just the monocular without any accessories like mount or head harness?

Clip it on while wearing the headset and I’ll be impressed.
Hope these are in stock when I’m ready to get one in about a month or so 😂

Holy sheet! This looks awesome! 😆
Does it also have a battery pack option like the Jerry?
Sold.
You guys ship to the states? How does customs work if you’re in CA?
Can you do a video on the BRICK and the noodl. Or a short on the features and install

Can I buy this same tube and housing set up but without the skull crusher and bag?

It was for attaching a label to the NOD as we were testing a lot of tubes that day and did not want to get them mixed up.
