That was so enjoyable, my dad was an Ipswich fan as am I. When we won the fa Cup against arsenal my dad was so happy. Fantastic memories then and Fantastic memories now. We'll done to all those working at the club.
Ive been going to PR since 1972 and was so privileged to watch them great sides and special players , been all over England and Europe supporting our club , but when we were bought out by a new owner the following 18 years were soul destroying, to see your club being slowly destroyed and theres nothing you can do about it , seeing kids walking down the streets with every other clubs tops on bar Ipswich , we had become a laughing stock and the club was dying , then the new owners came in and chairman O'Leary and CEO Mark Ashton and then appointed a manager id not heard of in Keiran McKenna i thought well it cant get no worse , and to see whats been achieved in just 2 and 1/2 seasons is incredible, they brought the community back to our club the belief back , but most of all our football club back to us , THANK YOU to the owners for investigating in our great club for bringing in the right people , and now we are back in the premier league. None of us know what the future holds but the onething we all know as supporters we have our club back , we our proud to wear the badge , and to see the whole community of Ipswich , Suffolk , North Essex and all over the uk and the world all coming together is emmense and to the owners , Staff , players of our beloved Ipswich town ... THANK YOU for making us proud again ... I T.I.D..... Ps and a massive shout out to blue Action for all they have done to create a superb atmosphere at PR ......
Love the interview I have followed Ipswich all my life my first game was in 1960 .Walking to Portman Road with me dad passed Browns Woodyard with my crate to stand on at the Front of Churchmans stand and being allowed to sit on the grass round the pitch when it became too full . So I have seen some fantastic days and evenings at Portman Road I walked out Portman Road after the Southampton match and said this is why I love this club ❤️❤️❤️ onwards and upwards come on the blues
Great interview. Mark Ashton is such a calm, level headed, down to earth person. With him steering the, financial reins, of the club, it gives you a feeling of confidence as we approach the next stage in the journey and premier league football.
I think getting Ashton in to run the club was a watershed moment for us, excellent interview and the drive and vision was clear to hear. From all the blues fan thankyou 💙
Can't say enough about Mark, the ownership group, kmc,his team and the players and,the backroom staff. The one thing the Mark understands and has done so well is reingage the community. That has been so vital and is the only way for sustainable success. Thank you so much.
I've never been so happy with how we have been until the last 2 years. What the new owners have done is amazing, what Aston has done has been the same. Kieran is a legendary manager along with Sir Alf and Bobby ❤
Everything seems to be going in a great direction just important when the tough times come which I’m sure some will next season, we stay with the team. They have done us so proud in the last couple of years so if we are 4-0 down to a city, arsenal, Liverpool Ect, we will still fully back the boys and the management/ownership.
Worth noting even if we hadn't got promoted last season it would not have been a failure. Even losing in the play offs would have been a fantastic season.
I hope they have taken some time to enjoy their success and spend time with their families. KM will approach the next challenge one game at a time. He will reward the squad that got us into the premier league while attracting new players who must work hard to earn a place in the starting 11. The foundations are still under construction and the club standards and ethics are being moulded and shaped daily. Town will build a team for success, one we can all be proud of. COYBs.
Mark, I'm with you on the "Stand up if your going up...." Us fans can do it but as a senior member of the club, can you imagine the ridicule if Town has collapsed and Leeds turned it around? You would have replaced Delia as the Wally of East Anglia. 😁
I think we'll have to get used to McKenna being linked with other clubs. What the new owners and coaching team have done is reconnect the club to the town.
We are so lucky to have Mark Ashton - he sets the standards for everyone at our club and long may he continue to be our vanguard,
Mark Ashton certainly knows his stuff, long may he reign.

Gamechanger , Mark Ashton and Kieran McKenna are the ´Great Trio´. They have taken us back to where we belong. Huge thanks.

But we didn’t. Most exciting time in the club for decades and ur waffling on about what?
The Burley era was great but what's happening now reminds me of Robson's era. Hopefully like Sir Bobby McKenna will resist moving to another club.
I think we'll have to get used to McKenna being linked with other clubs. What the new owners and coaching team have done is reconnect the club to the town.
