Our new additions to our camping adventures were a couple of Lectric XP 3.0 e-bikes, but the problem was how to haul them. I did not want them out in the weather in an open truck bed and security was an issue, as well. So, I devised a fairly weather-tight solution for our new toys.
Several TH-camrs mentioned they packed theirs in totes, but only as a tray to keep the bikes from spreading while folding. I went one step further.

04-10-2023, bought and returned the 40 gal tub. Too small for a lectra xp 3.0, get atleast a 40+ length tub.
The 40 worked for mine, but I have noticed that you have to maneuver it a bit to get it right.
45 gallon totes would give a bit more room, grant you that.
Cool idea to have the top cover. I got the same bike in black and the passenger package so I can take the wife. I got the husky 45 gallon tote at Home Depot for my 2.0. It has the wheels and makes it handy for wheeling it around the garage and out to the truck. And I use my black bike cover over the tote when I have it stored in the garage or behind the seat in the truck.
I used it on a short trip the other day and it worked well. Thanks.

What tote without wheels, fits on top of the craftsman wheel tote?
What a genius idea put it in a tub right I don't think anybody ever thought of that....
I hadn't seen anyone else do it, and since I don't have a bed cover, I wanted them protected.
You may want to do more Lectric riding videos, they seem to attract more subscribers.
Just got the bikes and haven't had a lot of time to play. Just wanted to share an idea. Thanks for the comments!
