Danny Carter hello Danny, sorry to hear that. The key is to start training them to trap right about when they are 3 to 4 weeks old. You put them in front of the trap door while you stand behind and sound a whistle or you can whistle your self while you shake the food can. Repetition is the key, once they get used to that sound they'll trap right away. Also make sure they are a little hungry every time you let them out. Otherwise they will wonder around for a long time. Hope this helps.
Your birds are so well trained i have only breed two birds and they both flew off first time out.

Yes thanks that's very helpful. i will give that a try if the birds i have now ever bring young ones up successfully there not very good parents.
