One of the first attempts at an internal combustion engine ran on gunpowder, or black powder at the time, it was a wheel that looked similar to a ferris wheel, and several combustion chambers around the circumference of the circle, facing outward but at a slight angle as to propel the wheel directionally , it had one "head" facing the chambers, imagine a wheel with bullets around it that propelled the wheel in a circle but without projectiles. Why was the gun powder tube still there when he started after blowing up the gun powder tube
Yeah, I don't like that. Fishy
Then at the outro the motor is in its exploded state with the bent head bolts still in it lol
Ash Cooper maybe he made multiple, planning on doing something else using a similar system, or just made a spare?
He did it two times and just put the explosions in the wrong order
Neighbors on nextdoor:
Loud boom
Did anyone else hear that loud boom yesterday?
Actually a couple of the neighbors text me and a couple of the neighbors came out to make sure everything was okay...
@@WarpedYT I guess they are expecting some crazy shit all the time :D
@@WarpedYT ohhhh
I figure by this point the neighbors are more like "KABOOM!" "There he goes again, let's go check on him."
@@WarpedYT let them know its just business

Nailed it.
You are amazing brother I yesterday found your channel and I have watched almost 20 videos of your channel your content is awesome..
when he checked to see if it "still runs" the tube of gunpowder that exploded was still next to the engine.
I SEEN THAT, That shit was fake
Glad I wasn’t the only one that noticed
It ain’t fake he put another tube because you can see The bent head bolts at 6:10 with the tube next to them
Your all wrong, it's clearly just an editing mistake and he put the clips in the wrong order
New Camera looks like the colors are more saturated. Looks good
agreed. looks better to me too.
Your neighbors must love you! Keep up the peculiar work.
Watch the explosion again, but read the subtitles lol
For any of you wondering, it says [enchanting music] followed by [carnage]
I took your suggestion and that is hilarious!!🤣🤣
😂😂😂
@@cosp_ride3095 thank you
I think my caption is broken
“Ur mom upstairs” - why the hell i have engine head in my closet xD
Your new camera did a great job with this video. I was not expecting the double explosion. watched in 720p. Such Detail...
he said all the safety precautions , but hes like efffe my neighbors siding and garage doors lmao
Acetalene gas with pure o2 combustion in the enegine
For acetalene gas
Calcium carbide + water --> acetalene gas
Any water can give but distilled water is preferred
What..... Wait a min you can make acetylene at home?
@@thomasbarlow4223 in india no
In other nations I don't know
In india u must have license for getting calcium carbide
@@supreethathreyas4577 yea here in florida you can get calcium bicarbonate for pools... Not sure how similar that is?
thomas barlow not the same at all (at least that’s what I’m told)
He already ran an engine on oxy acetylene in a previous video.
The flame front zipping up the gunpowder tube was just as cool as the engine blowing apart!
Turns out he's sponsored by Briggs and Stratton.
Engine: _literally explodes_
Also engine: _starts right up_
Starts right back up... And the pipe is suddenly unexploded too
@@redjellonian8126 exactly what i was thinking! The tape seal has the same little tag and everything. I hate to say it but i think its faked.
Rated Redneck I was suss on it too so I had to watch it again after reading comments, after the explosion it had a different blown out head on it (broken pieces still on engine in different spots if you look close) and the tube was back in place. I’d say he blew the head off mildly and the tube didn’t catch in a first attempt (not shown) then he put stock head on and ran it (that’s the after explosion run) then put on another see through head on and got the big double explosion which is the one you see in the video.
Briggs doing a good job. It starts after getting hit with an EXPLOSION from the inside out. The only thing that truly failed was the see through plate. Outstanding.
Except for the after shot of it running there was clearly a tube full of gunpowder next to it......
Hey, have you ever thought about spraying Deodorant Spray directly into the intake of a engine?
Would be interesting
ive made an engine run off it, with no carb, isnt too different from what ive seen
That stuff is explosive
@@WarpedYT for the views :)
It is probably butane it will work fine, and smell nice.
Yay it has happened can you do a sires on model steam engines
You're right...it was like a cartoon. This was one of the best (funniest) videos on TH-cam.
I knew there had to be a reason this guy is missing a finger.
So this is what is called the self-destruct system in the James Bond car
I thought the camera quality was great. Tremendously satisfying as usual. It's cool that you know Project farm, worlds just collided!!
These gender reveal parties are getting out of hand now.
So was that an abortion?
Thomas A oh shit I laughed way too much at that! 😂
Why is the tube of gunpowder in the scene when he tests it after it Blew up
I hope is because he will blow it up with the metal head in another episode
God was watching out 4 him.
I was saying the same thing didn't the tube brake
👆 Up this comment, he has to answer that !
Up! I was wondering the same thing
The fact that this man is still alive 👏
"I'm going to run this engine on gunpowder. What could go wrong?"
Engine: "Hold my beer and watch this..."
BOOM, engine explodes

Yeah I commented this, then saw someone already commented something similar.

This slowmo footage is so satisfying to watch 👌🏻✌🏻
"All the safety precautions"
Literally nothing protecting people passing the open garage door
No kidding, what an idiot.
I bet his neighbors are like wtf
He just made a bomb in his garage. The amount of FFF powder in that tube made me cringe before he even started the engine.
They are protected by maximum safety level "not-being-there"...
Ah yes, of course, one of the most busiest streets ever.
lol.
all the videos are coming out now!
Man this channel does everything I can't think something you can't do with no explanations
The only thing I can't make is time... That's my biggest enemy
@@WarpedYT yes time is a big enemy
Run this engine with pure oxygen
Oxygen by itself does not burn. It oxidises other chemicals so that THEY burn. Without fuel, oxygen will do nothing.
was the last clip on the engine running really taken after it blew up as I can see the clear pipe with the gun powder in it that blew up? or did he get a new clear pipe? but why would he do that?
Look at the 6:00 mark
Was this paid editing fuckery?
The tube at the 6:00 mark is empty. At 6:11 when he is cranking it, you can see the black powder in the tube. Why?????
Love the music while the engine explodes in slow motion. Priceless
Very cool idea!
amazing! This is what internet wants. You'll go viral.
That was Fantastic!! This my friend is the very essence of You Tube, and what goofing around in the shed is all about. Great job :)
I thinkk the new camera rocks. The closeups shower lots of detail. Almost as if i were there with my face in that scene!
I never noticed any difference with the video. What a dumb idea to put gun powder in an engine but boy am I glad you did. That was EPIC!!!
For just this once, I enjoyed the background music while the slow motion explosion took place.
man, you‘re the coolest scientist i can imagine. Thanks for all your ideas and projects.👍👏🏻
