Hey guys, i'm Andrew One, the maker of this album. Streets of rage is a game that has been a part of my life since i was little. From the gameplay alone or with friends, to the music, which has always inspired me, and continues to inspire me to this day! I can say that Yuzo Koshiro and SOR have contributed for me to make music my profession. I actually ended up working on Streets of Rage 4 Mr.X Nightmare as an audio engineer! I'm really happy to have the opportunity to collaborate with Gamechops to release this album, which are a group of great and fun people. I'm also very happy that the public seem to be enjoying it a lot! I plan on on making a few more SOR remixes and remakes, so stay tuned!! Streets of Rage is the best game ever created. I main Skate and Cherry Hunter, SOR 2 is my favorite because the music is tooooo good! First off thank you so much for your work on this and the game. Its a wonderful Friday sitting around taking bong rips with my lady talking and enjoying the beats. She plays Blaze Fielding and we beat SOR 4 together. I have so much love for these vibes sir! Feel the rage...STREETS OF RAGE‼‼
Put this on to work to, but it hits way too hard and I keep getting pulled back into my childhood. Love the SFX mixins from the stages the songs occur in.
Damn...I remember listening to The Streets of Rage (first track on this playlist) during the intro scene to Streets or Rage 2 on my Sega Genesis. I thought that music, for 16-bit at the time, was incredible! And to hear it now fully realized is just amazing. I'm here, and yet back in 1993 at the same time.
It pleases me SOOOOOO much when Last Soul gets a new take...like a final boss stage legit always needs a theme worthy of that gauntlet you fight through.

Love the rearrangement and small touches! However I felt it was a bit too chill - setting it to 1.25x was absolutely perfect for me! Thanks again for this amazing mix ❤

Any plans to release this on anything physical (tape, vinyl, CD, etc)?

I love this. It's like Sade meets Streets... Paradise hip hop beats with a steady baseline. I'm adding it to the rotation.
In my opinion this is a lot better than most of gamechop's more recent output.
