This is fun to watch and sit back and watch all the mania unfold in various interesting patterns When I was a kid in the 90s i saw screenshots in a game magazine and my imagination ran wild. Then one day during school holidays I was staying at my grandparents house and i asked to go to the local video rental store to rent a game, and to my absolute shock not only did they have the game i saw in the magazine but it was in stock (not currently rented out to someone else - that was a problem back then, the good ones were always rented out) I remember plugging it in and starting that first stage with skate and being so blown away how i could jump on their shoulders and punch their heads. The colours and the sound were so amazing, I showed my grandma and she said it was terrible because of the violence but she didnt stop me from playing it thankfully 30 years later and here we are, still amazed by this game, the colours, music, sound effects, everything just comes together to create something unique and long lasting. I believe devs are fan of Berserk. At 16:20 you can see Caska and Gust(Guts) and around 18:39 there is enemy called griphis aswell. Not to mention Max looks like Guts aswell
That's often a big trick in beat em ups with 2 player support, the TAS will have both player character attack and do damage as fast as possible. I think in SoR2 it's a hit per frame.
this must be old, or i just never seen sonnikustar worked on this before. I know I have seen him running games a lot and loved it. Hope stuff is going fine, he's been super chill. He might have mentioned this some time ago and said it as a surprise over Ristar or something. Either way, Cool to see this. ^^
He didnt invent any of that. Those genres existed well before he made the music for these games. The reason they are what they are its BECAUSE he was inspired by that style of music.
