The bosses on 3ds are NOT more challenging, they're extremely easy compared to the originals since the 3ds version tones the difficulty of all the game and makes it easier to be more accessible to newer audiences
I have that collectors disc with 4 games, majoras mask and OoT always crashed alot on me in that version, ive never once had a random crash on the n64 and 3ds versions
I have the collectors edition for the GC still. I had the same problem as a kid where the game would freeze and I’d have to start over from the first day. I never got to finish MM because of that, I also left off on the stone tower temple. Also for the GC version the sound is sometimes distorted for a few seconds when you load into a new area with the same soundtrack like in different parts of clock town so that’s what the warning message at the start of the game is referring to. Also I think I remember the frame rate being a little choppy too. All in all it’s a shame they weren’t able to emulate MM properly for the GC like they did with OoT but MM still holds a lot of memories for me and it’s still my favorite Zelda game even though I’ve never completed it. Now that there’s a switch version I’ll definitely be replaying it and beating it for the first time.
You forgot to mention that the Wii version lacks all types of Rumble features, even if the game is played with a Game Cube controller, this makes harder to find hidden underground caves.
Losing your entire save file is TRAGIC! I count myself lucky to never have that happen. 14:06 Although I find it ironic that I also haven't finished Majoras Mask before even though I have reached the Stone Tower Temple.
Luckily I didn't lose my entire save file! When I had to reset the game it took me back to the Dawn of the First Day before I went to the temple so I just lost many hours of progress that went into completing the Stone Tower Temple, I didn't really explain that part properly so sorry about that! I didn’t realize that using a Wave Bird as my main controller, which disables Rumble automatically, was actually helping! 😮

I'm aware of the spin attack thing but when I tried it myself when doing research for this video, I found no difference in it so I purposefully left it out🤔So I don't know if I just did it wrong or what lol And about the bosses, I pretty much explained it in the video. As in the regular version, it was mostly possible to just swing your sword or use your bow to defeat the bosses but in the 3D version, you were required to do a lot more to defeat them. So when I said "challenging", I didn't necessarily mean that they were harder, but that new things were added to the fights to make them last longer and for you to use more of your equipment than before. I probably should have specified that in the video so my bad on that one! Hopefully this clarifies some things up! ✌

@@JacobNintendoNerd99 There's a massive difference. Play it again, Deku Link has no speed when trying to spin from lilypad to lilypad. You have to run around first before spinning, and you actually move less distance than before, meaning there's more lilypads. On the N64, you could just spin and immediately have all that speed + you move a much further distance.

There's a restoration mod that fixes it, so it's quantifiable and observable. On pc you can literally have them both running in conjunction and test it. Yeah... the GCN emulation... I only experienced the audio minor issues and the sometimes lower framerate vs the original N64, my cousin (who was the one with the disc) was able to 100% the game without dealing with shenanigans with the game dying on you (very lucky if you ask me), still, I like either the original or 3DS versions (just I can't deny the changes with Gyorg and Twinmold made them more annoying to deal with... when in the original release were already annoying to begin with... but can't deny that at least with Twinmold was funny to see Giant Young Link doing the needed stuff against the Red Mold.
I think the Milk Bar being named Le Lactel, then Le Crémeux, then Le Lactoz is simply due to the fact that Lactel is a brand of milk in France so whoever was tasked with checking details in the GC version changed the name just to be safe. The only issue is that "Le Crémeux" (the creamy one) sounds vaguely sexual, especially in the context that the Milk Bar is a night club reserved to adults, so they changed it again. I mean if you open a bar in France that is named "Le Crémeux" it will be clear to everyone that it is a gay bar.

Can you do one with the original The Legend of Zelda? It has sooo many versions! Virtual Console, Switch Online, GameCube and Game & Watch rerelease .... it'd be super interesting.
You left out a difference that I've noticed cuz I play the original N64 version which I still have and I have played the Wii version which has to be the same version afterwards is that they change the reward for completing the UFO cow sidequest. In the N64 version Link gets smothered in boobs and in later version he gets 200 Rupees. Yeah i rather have the 200 Rupees but who can say no to women chest.

"Last day" has a bit more context in Japanese... as 最終 (saishuu) is the "last" day, but 最期 (saigo) means "one's last moment"... like "one's death"

Well GameCube is no different than N64. Other than disc drives.
