3DS Ocarina was a pretty good remake. Too colorful though, not as dark as the original. And not having the C Buttons messed up the fluidity of the Ocarina playing.

Made me laugh, lol. Solid.

Thank you so much for this!!! I was playing Four Swords Anniversary Edition on the 3DS, and it made me wonder how different it would be playing it on the original GBA. And then the idea came to me- what if you played every different version of every Zelda game? I immediately thought about OoT because it has been made available in so many ways and I think it would be super interesting how every game is slightly different every time it gets ported to another console. I just know there’s some crazy Zelda fan out there who HAS played every version of every game

I think the cucco that one of the bomber kids uses to fly in the original N64 is also missing in 3D

I feel victim to the GC's poor emulation when I did my playthrough of it YEARS ago. Game refused to load going into the Ikana well, forcing me to redo the ENTIRETY of Great Bay.

The Dampe Piece of Heart was an oversight to address another oversight, where the collected flag was set when it was dug up, not when it was collected.

I think the Milk Bar being named Le Lactel, then Le Crémeux, then Le Lactoz is simply due to the fact that Lactel is a brand of milk in France so whoever was tasked with checking details in the GC version changed the name just to be safe. The only issue is that "Le Crémeux" (the creamy one) sounds vaguely sexual, especially in the context that the Milk Bar is a night club reserved to adults, so they changed it again. I mean if you open a bar in France that is named "Le Crémeux" it will be clear to everyone that it is a gay bar.

French here. “Uvez-en” doesn't mean anything, but ‘Buvez-en’ does, it's a spelling error because the "B" is missing(Buvez is from the verb Boire(drinking)).

Yeah... the GCN emulation... I only experienced the audio minor issues and the sometimes lower framerate vs the original N64, my cousin (who was the one with the disc) was able to 100% the game without dealing with shenanigans with the game dying on you (very lucky if you ask me), still, I like either the original or 3DS versions (just I can't deny the changes with Gyorg and Twinmold made them more annoying to deal with... when in the original release were already annoying to begin with... but can't deny that at least with Twinmold was funny to see Giant Young Link doing the needed stuff against the Red Mold.

Your intro is pretty misleading. Remake or rebreak on ocarina of time has been out 6 years. And that is a far more detailed comparison than this video. You even showed it while saying that none existed... Pretty disingenuous

The bosses on 3ds are NOT more challenging, they're extremely easy compared to the originals since the 3ds version tones the difficulty of all the game and makes it easier to be more accessible to newer audiences

Without A doubt master quest 3rd ver was fun doing A 3 heart play through on with the mobs being buffed up

Hey neat, you used a bunch of images I made for Zelda Wiki! It's always nice to see where they show up. One funny tidbit about the Gerudo symbol: when they changed it in the GameCube version, they actually missed one! You can see it around the ceiling in the underground area where you race Dampé's ghost. They did fix it eventually, but I forget if they did so on the Virtual Console or the 3DS version.

The Muslim version, albeit the translation ruins it, sounded amazing. I want to say I had that version and it added a layer of spook and wonder.

The GameCube collectors edition game was also bundled with the console in North America for a short period. That was how I got mine and it was my introduction to the series!

I think you might have had a bad copy of MM on GameCube because of the freezing you encountered.

You forgot to mention that the Wii version lacks all types of Rumble features, even if the game is played with a Game Cube controller, this makes harder to find hidden underground caves.

Heck yeah I own version 1.0 on N64!!! But my N64's reset button is stuck so it will randomly reset even if I'm up to my neck in a dungeon. Which sucks.
