Best vid in a while. Makes you appreciate having a solid kit that much more, but also shows how much you can do with your bare hands and some patience.
Is it wrong of me that I am taking waaaaaay too much pleasure in seeing him eating Alpo? Nothing but respect for you Corporal. You continue to teach the flock more and more each week.
How to make reverse cordage and then the reminder to do the pacman thing on the bowdrill set are both things I feel like have the most value on your videos like this. Of course also not to mention that your bed looked super comfy 😴. Even if it was itchy, I don't think I would have cared if it was keeping me warm on a cold night and not having rocks and roots poking me in the side or back is great. Outstanding AF.
It’s gettin’ down to the nitty gritty...a minimalist Swiss Army knife , vine cordage , beer bottle boiler and a can of mystery meat-who hash...survival achieved !! OUTSTANDING AF - I love...with a smashed tin can teaser for next time 👍❤️👍
Happy 246th birthday to the Marine Corps. And blessings to you for your part in the mission of the Corps. Minimalist survival on steroids. Thanks for showing us what is possible.
Awesome overnighter, I can’t help but chuckle to myself about breaking camp in this case consisted of folding/clamping down the can of “meat” in the end with everything else used being al’natural. Impressive knife only and like you pointed out you didn’t even use it but a couple times either, more knowledge you carry the less materials you have to carry. Great job!!!!!!!

Friend and I ran a creek when we were kids. We built a shelter out of the blue on day using just downed tree limbs, leaves and whatever we could find. It ended up being more of a mud hut because we utilized the creek water to make mud to cover it. Took us pretty much all day to build it. Although we never actually camped in it during rain or such I think we had it where it would keep the majority of the weather out. It stood for several years without doing anything to it after the day we built it. I've always thought if ever needed a short term shelter while building a long term shelter I would be in pretty good shape without having a tent. One bonus to my area is there is wind and solar powered water wells all over. Thanks for this video. Brought back a very cool memory
Absolutely outstanding!! This is almost as bare bones of a survival kit that can be had. Shows what hard work and some thought can do. Always a good day when Corporal posts a new video!!
