Hi Peter . Chalk and cheese really . If I was after another bike I would seriously look at the Suzuki v strom 800, Triumph Tiger 900 , Triumph 765 and Suzukis brilliant GsX8s would all be in the mix . Was going to demo ride the v strom today but the weather has been awful and didn’t want to get it filthy just for channel content 🙈Tenere is a very tall bike and is more off road than on . If you’re into off roading then go for it bit more on road I would try something else . Time to demo ride lots of bikes then 👍
There’s definitely a TMF vibe going on, but better😎. Liking your no nonsense bike reviews, giving a real world review of a wide variety of bikes. You need to buy Dan at the dealers a drink 😁 but I suspect your reviews are helping his sales figures. 👍👍
Appreciate the comments. Gotta adapt or be left behind. My new insta 360 camera is a nice bit of kit....that was until the extendable pole that I had attached to the bike, decided to lower itself to the ground and the tarmac proceeded to eat one of the corners of the camera away...oh well we live and learn, at least the 360 camera still works! Ride safe.
Hi, the suspension was fine, clearly with that long travel it is more of an off road kind of bike and it's pretty tall too for ground clearance. This would be the one I would take off road if I had the skill set, which I don't ! Wouldn't like to do 2 up touring on it. The seat was ok and didn't give me any issues. But one would really need the bike for a few days to see if it suited you.
Would much rather just plug a tire and hand pump it rather than wrestling a tire off a rim, replacing the tub, then wrestling it back on in the boonies. Was your comment even serious?
awesome review!now, i think you should make and one for the new transalp, without let many days pass
Thanks . That one is next to do 👍
How did you like the Tenere compared to your speed twin? I’m thinking of selling the speed twin for one. Interested to hear your views. Thank you.

yes there is a low seat, and lowering dogbones. OH PS you dont want a flat in the boonies with a tubeless tyre , much easier to fix a flat in a tube
Thanks for the input. I would be happy to fix a tube...others wouldn't be, especially if I wasn't concerned about scuffing the rims😂 👍
