Great helpful video. Another reason to get the full frame lens with aPSC is if you plan to upgrade to full frame in future and on a budget. 😂

    Very helpful Matty!
Bought a Sony A7iii + 3 lens bundle second hand. One of which is the: "E 70-350mm F4.5-6.3 G OSS". When using this lens I saw the max quality of the image maxed out at 12MP rather than 24MP, and was confused??? With it being apsc lens with the full frame, im not getting 70-350mm right?

you get reduced megapixels because using an apsc lens on a full frame camera forces it in to a crop mode.

If I put a full-frame lens with F4 on aps-c body, does the aperture need to times the crop factor?

no the aperture will stay f4 : ) but the focal length will change to 1.5x

F4 will stay F4! So you will get the exact amount of light!
Just in terms of bokeh, it will look approximately like an F6 on Full frame. This is what you're reading about when people say you have to multiply the aperture
