Chad I really appreciated the respect you gave the older gentleman showing and telling you is storytelling about is truck what pride this person has it shows what compassion and respect for people especially letting him reminiscing is history and love
Chad and Jolene , I'm so pleased to see how much courtesy you showed this wonderful couple in your purchase of this Wonderful Classic 1976 Suburban 2500. I can tell the Gentleman was so pleased that Chad and Jolene bought his truck and it was going to a great home where it'll be appreciated and care for. . It was gentleman's pride and joy. I've been personally driving Chevrolet Tahoes , Suburbans and Cadillac Escalades for almost 30 years and they were all wonderful vehicles.

Chad & Jolene, that is a beautiful Suburban and I don't know about in Canada but in the US the trucks with 454 engines are getting harder to find! I can't get over how clean it is! Thanks for taking us along Jolene!
Squares are getting harder to find in Canada period but in Nova Scotia to find one in this shape with 454 is as rare as you’ll get. 😊
This came from Florida almost 40 years ago after Arthur met the former owner who was vacationing with it up here in Nova Scotia.
This is my grandpas truck !! Take good care of it . Have a lot of childhood memories going camping riding in it

Nice truck wow you guys got a nice old square body there I would think with the 454 it’s got a turbo 400 tranny with electric kick down most people took the belt off the AC pump in the old days to get that little extra HP with pulling a trailer then you got to had a four core radiator with the high shroud 3/4 ton had rear sway bar and heavy brakes that’s a good old truck I like the gate the barn doors are nice but the tail gate is nice for a place to work on stuff or just have a picnic lol down by the river on a Friday night !!!!!! Under the moon light 💡 listening to the flogs sing lol sweet truck guys congratulations on that find

Pops kept the truck in good condition, looks very clean inside, looks like it was worth the money.

That thing is sweet. My aunt had one when I was a kid. It was blue metallic blue, and dark blue.

I'd buy it. Side note the owner is 40 years older than I am and he can squat down and get back up way better than I can 😂.

Sweet deal on a beautiful truck, just be sure to rust proof the areas behind the rocker panels, everyone i knew with gmc or Chevy square bodies that had running boards experienced future rocker rust issues, especially trucks that see winter salt road driving, they hold alot of moisture in the rocker panels and lower fenders, good luck with her😉
That truck has been personally undercoated with used motor oil every year since it came here from Florida almost 40 years ago.
Im pretty sure there is no snow in that part of Newfoundland.

This truck has oulled a camper a few times a year for my lifetime of 40 years. Always drove by my place at 25 mph max and we will miss seeing it. Back around 2006 the garage itnwas in burned down and Mr. U (the old gentleman) saved it by going into the burning building unhooking it from the burning camper and driving it out. This viehicle has always been a big deal in thos community.
This was not in the garage that burned.

Anyone who has ever owned a big block suburban like that knows you can see the gas gauge moving while it’s sitting there parked.
Arthur is 91 this year. A more honest and generous man would be very difficult to find. Chad got a great deal there.

454! Gotta flip the air cleaner lid... Wooooot! Love the attempt at better fuel mileage... the vacuum gauge on the dash. Resistance is futile, put your foot in it.
