I lived a life of impurity in college. Years later after the Lord had forgiven me and showed me His mercy, I returned to the dorm room where I had my life of dissipation. There on the door was a poster of the DIVINE MERCY OF JESUS. I was absolutely stunned because this was a very liberal university and the last thing I expected was to see this. Psalm 89:1 says “I will sing of the mercies of the Lord forever.” This will be me in heaven. I look forward to seeing all of you there one day because we will all sing of His mercy.
Day 300!!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉 What a milestone. I pray for all the people out there who like me took more than a year, 2 years even to get to this point. It took us longer to get here but we made it this far and it's still an achievement. Do not be ashamed. When was the last time you said to someone : "I read more than 2/3 of the Bible"!? Soon we will have read the entirety of the Holy book which I never did in my 43 years of existence. So even though I didn't read it daily ( and sometimes felt bad about it), I feel closer to the Lord and I rejoice in the fact that I know Him and His heart so much better now. May the Lord continue to encourage us in the next 65 days. 🙏🏾
As Fr. Mike always says its not the speed we have in going through the bible, but the determination to finish it at our own pace. Vacations, family duties, etc slow the pace of our journey but we march ahead. Glad to be on the journey with you all.
Many Christians forget that broken people (all of us) are trying despite their brokenness. Failing continuously, but never giving up on themselves or on God. The real sin is to give up trying. This is why our lord commands us to judge not lest we be judged.
We made it to Day-300!🙏🏼❤️🎉🎉🎉 Thank you, Lord, for Your goodness, faithfulness, and love! Thank you, Father Mike, for being a “true Shepherd” in guiding us to hear and believe in God’s Good Word. I have sayings and prayers that I don't know where they come from if not from the Holy Spirit. "If you faint in the day of adversity, Your strength is small," it says in Proverbs. I have this saying, "A faith that goes unchallenged is a small faith." Maybe I got this saying from this Proverb when I read it years ago. It was so good to hear it today for validation.

Please Fr Mike and Biay community pray for my mom. She is 91 and we had to place her in a nsg home. Her body is failing, especially her mind. It has been stressful for all but in my heart I know it's the right decision. Just want mom at peace and safe.

According to tradition, St. Gertrude the Great was told by Our Lord that each time she piously recited the following prayer, it would release 1,000 souls (or a vast number) from their suffering in purgatory: Eternal Father, I offer You the most precious blood of thy Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the Masses said throughout the world today, for all the Holy Souls in Purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the universal Church, for those in my own home, and in my family. Amen. In her account of another vision, St. Faustina describes Purgatory as a "great crowd of suffering souls" undergoing purification. Further, she says that the souls are "praying fervently, but to no avail, for themselves; only we can come to their aid" (Diary, 20)

Can someone help me with this question? Iv tried to find a forumn that can help but I cannot. "Why are some lives worst than others" - why this question. I grew up in an abusive household. I prayed to my lord to get out of this situation and I did. I prayed to God to for a good husband, I prayed to God to help me for a good career for my kids. Not only am I failing, my marriage is too. I keep thinking where did I go wrong. All I did was under my lord's prayers. Yet I see my friend, grown up in a loving home, with riches. Is in a great marriage. About to graduate. And she spent her early collage years partying, drinking, sleeping with men. And all of a sudden turns to Jesus and now is very christian. How is thia fair? Im still here waiting for God to finally let me have a peaceful life but Im stuck in marriage counseling dealing with depression medication trying to hold on to faith. Because I dont see my life ever being happy. Why? Why is this? Please someone answer me
My heart is crying for you, dear sister in Christ. I don't have an answer. I have heard that "the Lord is close to the broken hearted". Keep asking Him. Jesus suffered on earth, as we know. Keep walking with Him. I don't know Your situation with Your husband, so I hesitate to comment. But keep working on loving your husband. Marriage is a lot of work! Your friend....it doesn't make sense, does it? But be consoled that she's no longer living a sinful life. Perhaps she will be of help to you someday. I hope this is helpful and does not add grief.
