Shredder - Doppstadt DW3060 Technical Operation

The shredders of the DW series process by means of roller and comb and are suitable for the most difficult tasks. Roller teeth made of wear-resistant steel tear the material through the shredding comb. The comb opens automatically if necessary in order to avoid damages by large un-shreddable contaminants. All the wear parts are quickly and easily replaceable offering maximum work time, minimum downtime.
Mounted on 3-axle semitrailer chassis the DW3060 can meet with any requirement. The 3m roller on the DW3060 rotates at 31 rpm with 21 roller teeth and 22 comb teeth to shred material with the comb elements secured by wedges which are accessible from the outside . For different grain sizes and materials there are various teeth available allowing this high performance unit to work in many applications such as shredding of: waste wood, root timber, green waste, organic waste, garbage, bulky and industrial waste, mixed construction waste and many more.
Featuring short set up times thanks to the hydraulically foldable rear conveyor with optional overband magnet available this unit with its powerful direct drive (with electric reversing function), large protection doors and 2 ways to access motor is maintenance friendly.
Also offering exact adjustment and reading of machine data using a multifunction display, remote control operation (optional) this is shredding made easy.
