I met her in The Hague in 1970. Very petite and shy which was fine because I was at a loss about engaging her in conversation. I didn’t expect to meet an internationally famous person visiting the overcrowded boarding house where I lived.
She was a fascinating woman! Her image in the Venus film clip will be etched in our minds forever, she had such style. You find the best photos! I was so happy when I found her hair was a wig! I wear them too, i have alopecia, it’s fun and sure gets rid of bad hair days. The way she looked in the late sixties reminded me of Anita Pallenberg’s dark Queen character in Barbarella, all dark hair and huskiness. Another wonderful video about a fully lived life.
