I had the opportunity twice now, once in early spring and once a couple of weeks ago of seeing these beautiful animals. Oddly one was just walking on the pathway infront of me, unfortunately I did not get his face. fantastic footage, they really are beautiful animals.
Had to rewatch this one. Superb images at the end. Can't want for May to do this over here but will try tomorrow for the first time. Do you need permission to go to the badgers? Over here, we do need it from our Forestry Dept. Judging from the camera trap you leave out in the field, your forests are not trampled by lots of people. I also leave out trail cams, but I'm anxious when I do..
thanks a lot! I have to say, that there is a lot of activity in the forest, but mostly on the walks and streets, not deep in the forest,. No, I dont need any Permission to go to the Badgers, in fact I do keep Contact with the local Hunters, so the know what is happening in their Forest 🙂 the trailcams i dont care that much about, they cost about 40,- in the bundle of 4 , thats not so sad, if one gets stolen... the big Trap is well locked and secured, never had a problem with that! but I have to admit, that most of my Cameratrapping projects are on Private Property, where I know the Owners 🤣
@@TimsWildlife Sadly exact this model isnt available anymore, but take a look at K&F, i got my cheap ones from there, they are pretty good in Relation to Price/Quality
