I moved here last March from living in Colorado all my life. One thing that surprised me the most was how easy and painless it was to get license plates and my drivers license. I got plates, my drivers license, vehicle registration, tittle, and voter registration all at one location in about 45 minutes, and all in one trip.
Oooh that’s great to know. I currently live in a place that where the DMV takes hours, is expensive, and quite frankly no one looks forward to it here (in California)
Great video! Could you do a video that highlights some of the deed restrictions and HOA rules? Just give us an idea of what could be regulated. Thanks!
Taxes will vary depending on the neighborhood/area. Yes, there are neighborhoods without HOA. I would love to discuss this more specifically with you. If if you are interested, give me a call at 9413735880. Thanks for watching!
Would love to know more about the beach and parking costs at difference beaches. It seems there is no general rules about it. Is there any sources so people know before they go or choose a beach what it will cost them ? I've seen some pretty expensive fee's for either getting on the beach even if you walk in and/or parking fee's.
You can access Sarasota beaches for free. There is free parking at all of our beaches. However it does fill up fast so it is best to go early. Thanks for asking.
I have moved here from MN, I see that roads are small, lanes are narrow, speed limit is 45 but people drive 60, rain is sudden and heavy, every time it rains, you would hear ambulances. Publix dominated groceries here, the price is double from MN, I shopped in there a few times, you hardly find a minority workers, most shoppers are white, in my opinion, Publix set the price high, so poor and minorities couldn’t shop there, I came here to in 2018, my son and his cousins tried to apply at so many Publix and none of them called them, while you shop there you can see so many white kids work at cashier or bag groceries, I realize that and I never shop at Publix, it is the employee owned company, maybe they don’t want minorities.
Interesting, I just moved here and I see help wanted signs all over the place. Most younger people are trading stocks or crypto on Robinhood , creating NFT's or making TikTok or TH-cam videos to build a following. Most of the money making is online now. Welcome to the roaring 20's!
Weird because we have family that is minority and they make a good living in Sarasota. I think perspective can affect ones view. I mean if we went to the Bronks you wouldn't find as many white people, even Manhattan I'd say there are more blacks and Latinos.

Completely agree with you. That is one of the most pleasant parts of this area for sure. I tell my clients all the time about it.
Our DMV is pretty awesome!

Wow that’s great!! I really want to live in Sarasota now!
Thank you, glad you took away from it. Sarasota is wonderful!
Nothing like a Gulf Coast Sunset. Great content - well done!
Thank you. The sunsets are incredible!

Thanks, actually that is in the works. It should be out in a few weeks.
I've been told that the smell can be overwhelming. I guess during red tide. Is this true?
During red tide there can be a smell however Red Tide does not happen every year.
The only thing i don't like about Sarasota is the sky high price of properties!
They have definitely climbed.
How much are property taxes. Is their any neighbors in Sarasota without HOA fees? Thank you.

I have found a beautiful property that I love in the sarasota area. What are my next steps?
I sent you an email. We can chat about it when you have some time. Feel free to call me at 941-373-5880
How many people move there, then end up leaving after a couple/few years? Thanks
Actually about 30-35% of people do not stay past 3-5 years due to heat/humidity and family reasons.

Publix is definitely are large employer in the area but I was unaware of any of their hiring procedures.
