    Thank you for all of your wonderful videos. They are so helpful to French learners like myself, especially your tips dealing with spoken French. I mean, I would have totally pronounced the first e in petit. :)

    • @Frencheezi
      @Frencheezi  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You're most welcome :) And just to clarify, pronouncing the 'e' in petit wouldn't be a mistake. All I meant was that French people often omit it in speech. Pronouncing it is optional. Hope this helps.

    Beautiful young lady. French of course, but I only know as she, Cindy, told me so. I thought she was cockney Londoner. I especially love the repeat bit. It does help pronunciation. I didn't know to make it plural just add "s" at the end, maybe that is where we Brits got it from.

    I was really expecting BONJOUR BIEVENUE SUR MA CHAINE at the start xD anyways.. Merci pour cette vidéo!

  • @nexttosawall7816

    I really like it. However, the example sentences come without them being displayed. Hence, it needs quite a bit of vocabulary and grammarly knowledge to have a recognizing experience. This lesson is for an advanced beginner, and certainly most useful after one has watched all video lessons of ALEXA on the topic.

    *How can I say: "on est... grand/grande"?*
    *Which one should I use for "on"?*

    • @Frencheezi
      @Frencheezi  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It depends on who 'on' refers to. Grand is masculine, so use it if 'on' refers to a male (grands for several males) and use grande if on refers to a female (grandes if several females).

      @aprendahebraicocomabiblia1090 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Why do french speakers speak fast can I tell them to slow down?

    • @Frencheezi
      @Frencheezi  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, you could ask: Pouvez-vous parler plus lentement s'il vous plaît ?

    • @Cartoonlover4ever88
      @Cartoonlover4ever88 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      They do speak fast, and here is the reason: I don't know, what your native language is, but in every language the native speaker, has the tendency to speak a lot faster; because they are so secure in the language, and like many other native speakers, they have a tendency to mumble a bit when they talk.

      @StevePhillips 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Frencheezi I cannot figure out what You Tube mean. But I'm sure children would enjoy your videos. There is nothing frightening about them. They learn dreadful things at some school, social conditioning to think what they are told to think rather than to learn to think for themselves. Our teachers would often say, use your common sense lad. My dad would say, "Do I have to do all your thinking for you. You do have a brain don't you." Glad I learned to think I have common sense.

    The fact that you keep mispronouncing “adjective” is very distracting. You keep putting the emphasis on the wrong syllable “..jec...” so it sounds like you’re saying “objective”.
    Nevertheless, thank you for the lesson.

    Hang on, did you just pronounce petit "tee"!?

    • @Frencheezi
      @Frencheezi  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can omit the 'e' in 'petit', in which case it sounds like 'pti', since the final T is also silent. :)

    • @johnneavyn661
      @johnneavyn661 6 ปีที่แล้ว
