Hi Cindy, very good this series of Top words! Please help me focus on a few words that will be useful in 80% of the cases. Transcript is a wonderful bonus, thank you very much.
Que belleza! Thank you very much for your instructional videos. You're an excellent teacher. I also appreciate your transcripts that usually come in handy. Keep up the good work!
bonjour commenrt cava merci . mon nom Aaron I'm from the USA Oregon Eugene area and I am 34 years old and I am learning French sign language and I found your channel after I went to French or France I should say and I spent four weeks there to be able to learn the culture and the language is and to learn about the culture of the people who I love so much came back once you learn more French cuz I know I didn't have enough French now I'm at a 1st to 2nd grade level and I have a dyslexic mold and I have an auditory processing disorder that means that it processes is completely wrong but with your videos I am unable to understand how to pronounce the word better I watch your videos all the time I want to learn to speak the French and also to spell the French because I want to do French sign language just as well thank you so much for taking the time to make these videos and I will be watching them over again because I had to do it over and over and over and over and over until I but thank you so much,.
Hello Cindy, thank you for your excellent videos, I find them very helpful. I have a question, in some of your earlier videos you say "welcome to my channel" which I think you are saying "bienvenue sur ma chaîne" . I sort of expected you to say " to" rather than " on" would I be wrong to say " bienvenue à ma chaîne"?
Thanks for your kind words! 'Bienvenue à ...' is used when welcoming someone to a place, such as a town or theme park (e.g: Bienvenue à Paris). When referring to a channel, whether it be on TV or YT, you need to use 'sur' instead. Hope this helps :)
Hi Cindy. I really enjoy your videos, and you speak English so well with the cutest English accent. I just wanted to correct one pronunciation. When you say the word “adjective” you put the emphasis on the wrong syllable. Instead of adJECTive, it should be ADjective. Thanks! Fred in NYC
Si charmante! English people get superglued to the word beaucoup. Which is fine, but alternatives, depending on context, are "si tant de", "un tas de", etc. Similarly to an example you gave, sensible, I think one should be careful about saying that a person is spécial, which can be an insult. And a french person can describe a person as "simple" meaning a compliment, ie straightforward, honest, no airs and graces. Don't call a person simple in English!
This is so true. Calling someone special in English is usually a compliment, while in French it's more akin to calling someone odd. Definitely NOT a compliment lol.
I wish I had you as my French teacher when I was in my twenties! 💕
J'adore comment vous expilique
Merci cindy
Force à vous

Thank you, I didn't know that! :D
@@Frencheezi You have been mispronouncing adjective for years. I took it as a true sign of your Frenchness and je pense que c'est trés mingon.
