I totally agree. I’ve experienced it & the relationship was a passionate mess. But it’s still one of the greatest loves of my life. It’s not sustainable, but it’s fun as hell!!! 😊
I get the opposite sentiments from most of these comments by the look in her eyes and the song choice. The song is beautiful and sounds happy, yet I believe the rapid pace of the song reflects their relationship. Fast paced and loud yet sad at the same time. The look in her eyes 1:45 and 1:57 expresses she is trying to be happy but knows this is not true love. She does not feel cherished and she wasn’t. This scene breaks my heart. She’s racing towards her happy ending yet we know she’ll never have it.
Sad but true. My reality is that all endings aren’t as sad as her’s turned out to be. There is a magnetism that is relatable here. This piece reflects the odds. Her’s were not in her favor.
I don’t 100% agree, I can understand some of your points, but the music just takes me away, it’s so filled with life and passion and I really only think that this is the majority of what this scene is about, maybe just like in the music you can also hear the lower tones which I might interpret as slowly coming back to life from the long winter, which does also have sadness in it, but growth, slowly warming, unknowing but eager.
This scene, the music, the acting, photography, remind me of being young and rushing headlong into something that is doomed from the get-go. It captures that experience perfectly.
This is my favorite episode in season 2. I felt happy for Princess Margaret but yet Antony didn't deserve Princess Margaret, after all of bad things came up on her life. But then I can't deny they fit perfectly as a couple.
Did they fit perfectly as a couple though? Their marriage arguably broke down because they both had such strong personalities. It's actually really sad.
