I was thrilled to see these guys play in 2015, at a large-ish bar/small outdoor concert venue in Austin, Texas. There were some small rain storms moving through the area, so I got to hear 'Cry Thunder' in the rain! It's a pity that the US doesn't have as large a fan base for power metal as they do in Europe.

Yeah, every band has their own style and with DragonForce it's pretty much speed and complicated solos. But i think that it's good that not all their songs are like that.
I love DragonForce's music. While I tend to jam out more to Van Halen, DragonForce's music always motivates me and reminds me that there's still hope and that I can do anything. It reminds me to grab my problems with all my might and kick their fucking asses into space, even if they will still crawl back.
Right when I was like "Well dragonforce cannot make anything new... they reuse the same lyrics and phrasing every other song" they get a new vocalist and literally become a new better band. This was a present surprise back when this came out
