I saw Pink Floyd in 1973 at Atlanta Fulton Stadium, Dark Side Of The Moon concert at age 16. My favorite band of all time. This year I took my 41 year old daughter to Chattanooga, TN to see Brit Floyd. I wanted her to have the same experience of a Pink Floyd concert that I had. Brit Floyd is as close as you can get to the original band. We had a blast. I got the VIP meet and greet tickets and WOW. The band members were super nice and we got our pictures taken with them and Jackie Williams, back up singer was the sweetest and most beautiful lady, so talented. If you ever get the chance to see them in concert, you won’t regret it.
I've been listening to this concert on my I-Phone every day for 2 months straight. I still love this song. The best I have ever heard. These guys are the best out there.
I just saw them a month ago, was blown away how precise they are, and i keep coming back to this jam as one of the best i,ve heard any band do anytime anywhere wow!
Just saw Brit Floyd tonight at the Paramount on Long Island. First time seeing them. Ive been attending rock concerts for 40 years now and I think I can safely say that this show was one of the most flawless performances I have ever seen. They were perfection. Will never miss another Brit Floyd show in my area again
Kathleen: I'm 60 now and like you, have seen many concerts in my time! Saw Brit this year in Cincinnati, Ohio in The Historic Taft Theatre. Though a smaller venue, the acoustics were excellent. By far..BRIT FLOYD presented perhaps the Best Performance Live both Sound Wise & Definitely Light Show wise that I ever witnessed! I've read some pretty stupid comments about This Unbelievable Collection of Massive Talent (Brit Floyd). Those people are obviously deaf or just plain STUPID! THANKS for posting this fine video. Go See Brit Floyd folks! You will NOT regret it! Bravo!!!
I've been fortunate enough to see Pink Floyd live 3 times. Their light show was absolutely astonishing. The scale of it was mind blowing. But certainly Brit Floyd plays live versions that are very close to the original studio versions, and play them brilliantly. Definitely will see this band live if they tour here.
02.11.2012. Belgrade, Sava Centar Hall....Brit Floyd Live...i was there with my 12 years old son. That was the best 3 hours in our lives...thx so much! Best of all was when my son told me: "U are the best father ever, thx for this wonderful evening! " I almost cried....
IVE NEVER SEEN A BAND DO JUSTICE TO ANOTHER BANDS MUSIC AS BRIT FLOYD DOES FOR PINK FLOYD!!!!!! IVE HAD THE PLEASURE OF SEEING THEM LIVE 3 TIMES AND EACH TIME HAS SURPASSED THE PREVIOUS ONE!!!! IF I CANT SEE FLOYD ANYMORE, BRIT FLOYD STAYS AT THE TOP OF MY LIST!!!!!!
I usually HATE tribute bands, but if this song's any indication, this is THE Pink Floyd tribute band to make an exception for! This song was transcribed in detail in "Guitar Legends" magazine, and though the original had something like 7 guitar tracks, this performance includes every important sound. I love hearing a GOOD guitarist intrepret a Gilmour solo - even if note-for-note, it's ALWAYS a little different. It's impressive that the singer played the bassline while singing, both so well!
If you thumb this down..you simply don't like Pink Floyd so I question why you even bothered to open the link in the first place. This is beyond exceptional.
I just saw this performed live by this band in Birmingham Alabama on 6/3/23. I took my son who is very familiar with the music and my girlfriend. She is from Guatemala, barely speaks English, and is only a little familiar with the music as we have only been together 6 months. She enjoyed it well enough. It's not her type of music.
Thank you Brit Floyd for bringing back live performances to the people who loved Pink Floyds music. You guys play to perfection, if I close my eyes I wouldn't know the difference.
If you ever get a chance to see them live I highly recommend it for an experience of a lifetime. They received a standing ovation for this in Seattle 6-15-2016. What a performance!
I was lucky enough to be there at the Echo Arena in my hometown of Liverpool to see Brit Floyd 1st ever live performance..!! And was absolutely buzzing cos they played Pigs which is my favourite Floyd album + seen them 3 more times in Liverpool and seen them play Dogs and Sheep so the whole of Animals 🎉
This is propebly the most underrated song from the most underrated album of Pink Floyd :) It was a very good cover. Most of the times the people covering PF don't get the sound of the guitars right, but here they were spot on and it sounded very similar to Gilmour's raw sound on this track. Great job! :)
It's because Damien uses a vintage Showman amp & a Fullerton Strat and his effects are the same as Gilmour's. The musicman used by the second guitarist Bobby does a nice job with the bridge setting.
Well, since Pink Floyd hasn't toured as a band since 1994 because they can't control their egos, this is the closest anyone will get to seeing the real deal. Brit Floyd is an amazing live band!
Dark Poet: Indeed they are! I saw them two years cc ago on Cincinnati, Ohio at the historic Taft theatre. I thought small venue, they would just play and run on. WRONG! They played over 2 hours and the Sound System and Light Show we're totally amazing. This past year bc they invested over $1M in new lights, lasers and sound equipment. This BAND howerver; Is not just about Lights & Lasers! As you say, since Pink Floyd is no longer, these guys have taken Floyd's Music very SERIOUSLY. THIS version on PIGS, I actually like better than the original. Same goes with Comfortably Numb! Damien Darlington is an Awesome Lead Guitarist and producer of Brit Floyd. The ENTIRE band is extensively talented, including Bassist & Vocalist Ian Catelle, as well as those lovely talented back round singers. Love this band!
I'm so thankful & grateful that Damian Darlington had the vision to carry on such legendary music that will never be created again in our lifetime. You guys are truly The Best Band I've ever heard.
Absolutely amazing! I am blown away at the perfect recreation of Pink Floyd's masterpieces. My first experience was a number years ago in Pittsburgh and had to be coerced into going by a friend . . . halfway through the show I was literally in tears at how well they brought the Pink Floyd of the 1970's and 1980's that I remember to the stage. When when they started to play 'The Great Gig In The Sky' I thought "There's no way . . . " then the singer at that time (sorry, don't recall who she was) NAILED IT perfectly and I was hooked! There is no greater tribute to Pink Floyd than Brit Floyd! I thank all who make it possible to relive what Pink brought to us.
Going to the Pulse tour 2024 . This will be 3rd time for Britt Floyd, I've seen Waters 3 times as well and this is the closest thing. Love this band...
This song is about one thing and one thing only, can you guess who it would pertain too today? The guitar licks are incredible supported by kick ass drum beats. I was in High School when this came out shortly after Wish you were here. I was fortunate to see them perform it live in front of a packed crowd of over 70,000 people, it blew people away. 15 rows from the stage. Before the birth of the internet, personal computers or Music television. And if it was to be released today for the first time it would still be just as musically relevant as it was back then.
The Intro and the outro of this song are simply mesmerizing. This and Echoes are by far my favourite songs from Pink Floyd. (And these are the best covers from Brit Floyd...)
Couldn't agree more!! I was actually introduced to the album by Brit Floyd - the first time I ever heard Pigs was live...I was speechless. After the 7½ minutes when I, along with several others in the audience, assumed the song was over my brother, familiar with the album, just "mate, wait for it..." famazing! I also have to mention The Final Cut, certainly the last three tracks, they are simply superb. Whatever happened to good music..?
Seen this band a few days ago in Jacksonville Florida. Was blown away! One of the best performances Ive ever seen and I will go see them again. This band is a MUST SEE!!
PHEW!!!! Oh my goodness!! What musicianship and precision!! Excellent!! Thank God you exist so that we can see and hear these gems performed live....Thank you so much😇🤩
Was at the show in Ulverston on Thurday night and loved it. You guys a re a close to the real thing as it gets. Will be seeing you again. Thanks for a grreat night guys!!!!
Hey guys, I am a huge fan of all your performances, and I have to say that this version of "Pigs" is the absolute top of your game. Spot-on performance by all of you. You guys are not just a great tribute band, but a great BAND.
Seen these guys numerous times. Saw them originally when Damien and Ian were with Aussie Floyd. Just went to an Aussie Floyd show last week and it's amazing to see and hear that Brit Floyd is light years ahead in sights and sounds!!! Will never miss a Brit Floyd show!
Magnifique travail, quel exploit, bravo PINK FLOYD.....vous êtes les génies incontournables de la planète bleue, vos Albums & Vidéos sont des EXPERIENCES UNIQUES INOUBLIABLES.........
Seen both Brit Floyd and Aussie Floyd a few times each and Brit Floyd are superior in sound and visual effects.!! Since Damian Darlington left Aussie and started Brit Floyd they have gone on to another level..!! SUPERIOR ONE....
Was there that night, it was Brit Floyd's 1st ever Concert Live performed in the Liverpool Echo Arena on January 22nd 2011..I was at Earls Court in October 1994 to see the real Pink Floyd (The Pulse Tour) tripping 😳 off a 100 Magic Shrooms, so I can compare Brit Floyd to the real thing aswell as seeing numerous Floyd cover bands multiple times from Aussie Floyd to many others (etc etc) and Brit Floyd musically, visually and special effects wise Brit Floyd are in my knowledgeable opinion are definitely the best of the best by a long distance..!! Damaian Darlington left Aussie Floyd to form Brit Floyd as he felt he could do a better job of covering Pink Floyd and he absolutely made the right decision..!! Although Aussie Floyd are descent Brit Floyd are a completely different level..Nevermind the musical side the visuals, lights, lasers, explosions and special effects are on a completely different sphere..So if you have to choose between Brit Floyd or Aussie Floyd due to both playing in your Town or City, 100% definitely get tickets for Brit Floyd as they are far superior to Aussie Floyd..!! PS I'm not on Brit Floyd's payroll or commission, just telling you the truth and I think I have the credentials with seeing the real Floyd 94 (Pulse Tour) + Roger Waters twice 2018 and 2023..And Brit and Aussie Floyd both 3/4 times..!! And finally the best 2 gigs Ive been to were the Pulse concert at Earls Court and Roger Waters in Birmingham 2018 (The Us And Them Tour) with Battersea Power Station rising 200feet long and high right through the middle of the whole Stadium..!! Never seen visuals and effects like it before or since..!! Martin/Merseyside Everton FC 💙 UTFT AND COYB 💙
One of the things that really sets this solo apart from other Gimour solos is simply just the high intensity of it from start to finish. When that end solo starts out it makes me grit my teeth lol.
Out of the millions of videos on TH-cam, Cool Hat Dude chose this one as our Video of the Week and it is being promoted on our website and Facebook page. Brit Floyd ROCKS and we can't wait to see you live in Syracuse !!!
Eventho' the album was 1st released 4 decades ago, it's still win the hearts of many rock music lovers, I find Pink Floyd kind of rock music genre fit to the modern era too, I just love their unique kind of music.
Got tix in Stockton in June and Frisco in July...2 weeks apart. This is a &%#(@ special show, the greatest cover band in the world. Don't miss it Floyd fans if you get a chance to see it. Unreal!
Gilmour watched them live and enjoyed them so much that he actually hired them (as Australian Pink Floyd) to play for him in his 50th birthday (if I recall correctly) :)
As someone who saw Dark Side of the Moon, Animals, and The Wall in concert in the '70s and '80s I can truly appreciate the mastery of Brit Floyd. Brings me back to my mis-spent youth. Thanks for that.
The saw you in Boston, I was impressed with the performance!! I must say, as a drummer myself with Nick Mason being a key influence, my utmost respect to Arran Ahmun for his amazing work!
From 9:40 on, Damian's guitar solo melts my heart, mind and soul ...Even David Gilmour would have to say "Wow!" This is a perfect performance every single way.
In my opinion this is the best version, better than the original . Damian Darlington what a guitar hero. I love this song . See u guys 2019 in Germany and Switzerland ...
The whole animal's album is fantastic
That guitar solo at the end, OH MY GOD!!! Blows my mind!

I've been listening to this concert on my I-Phone every day for 2 months straight. I still love this song. The best I have ever heard. These guys are the best out there.
it’s been 9 years, have you still been listening to it every day?

Totaly agree
@@saulq08 yes
I just saw them a month ago, was blown away how precise they are, and i keep coming back to this jam as one of the best i,ve heard any band do anytime anywhere wow!
Animals is the most underrated Pink Floyd album in my opinion. For some reason this album has a very special place in my head and it never gets old.
Just saw Brit Floyd tonight at the Paramount on Long Island. First time seeing them. Saw them live twice in small halls. It was just great and so damn close to the original. But with their own little influences
I usually HATE tribute bands, but if this song's any indication, this is THE Pink Floyd tribute band to make an exception for!

Brit Floyd , the best cover song forever👌
9:41 through 12:03 AMAZING!! I could loop that solo to play over and over and over... absolutely awesome!
Absolutely one of my favorite solos of all time from pink floyd! Gives me goosebumps every single time.
Jitterbug: Agree! Those riffs are very good and mesmerizing!
I agree, this is probably my Favorite Pink Floyd song and the album is very underrated IMO.
THE ANIMALS IS THE BEST ALBUM OF PINK FLOYD...
I agree
Love it
Highly agree :)

All Pink Floyd albums rock
Their live mix is superb. Listen to that bass! This band is top notch.

RammFloyd indeed
Agreed
RammFloyd bobby Harrison the lefty guitarist is just awesome, check him out on youtube.
It's because Damien uses a vintage Showman amp & a Fullerton Strat and his effects are the same as Gilmour's. The musicman used by the second guitarist Bobby does a nice job with the bridge setting.
I love Bobby's lessons!
Damien is an absolute BEAST on guitar! I’ve already lost track of how many times I’ve seen these guys but I know I was hooked from the get go.
Well, since Pink Floyd hasn't toured as a band since 1994 because they can't control their egos, this is the closest anyone will get to seeing the real deal. Brit Floyd is an amazing live band!
I'll go back to 1981 since Roger left. Brit Floyd is better than the Gilmour floyd of the 80's and 90's.
Dark Poet: Indeed they are! I saw them two years cc ago on Cincinnati, Ohio at the historic Taft theatre. I thought small venue, they would just play and run on. WRONG! I must admit Brit Floyd is spot on for the real Pink Floyd Very Impressive
saw these guys NINE times, both as britfloyd and ausiefloyd. best I've ever seen
Goosebumps on that solo at the end.
Was lucky to see these in PF's ancestral home, Cambridge, England.
Great performance Pink Floyd didn’t play this song live very much wish they had.
Holy shit. That solo is spot on
One of the most underrated songs by Pink Floyd ever. Thanks for this cover. 👍🏼
Amazing spectacular final Strat solo, truely impressive!
Brilliant Rendition. @9:38 and after is mind blowing!

This was the best song you did last Friday in Phoenix, in my opinion. Absolutely nailed it!
Everything is on its right place...The bass, vocals, guitars, organ and the sound is perfect! Nothing to much, nothing to less! Brilliant!
I saw these guys live in Raleigh nc a long time ago and they were amazing
Having loved the Floyd for over 35 years and in my opinion animals is the best album they have done Brit Floyd done it justice
Absolutely the best version of Pigs I've ever seen, bravo.
Man I hope Brit Floyd plays this next time I see them… they played Dogs when I saw them a week ago and that was fantastic
Best version of Pigs I have ever seen, heard, Ian Cattell nails the lyrics, Damian and the band nail everything else, Bravo!!!
PHEW!!!! Oh my goodness!! What musicianship and precision!! Excellent!! Thank God you exist so that we can see and hear these gems performed live....Thank you so much😇🤩

Hey guys, I am a huge fan of all your performances, and I have to say that this version of "Pigs" is the absolute top of your game. Spot-on performance by all of you. You guys are not just a great tribute band, but a great BAND.
Have seen Brit Floyd twice in the USA. Great shows! Seeing them again in Little Rock in June.
OH MY GOD!!! I think this is the best Pink Floyd Cover I ever heard
As a life time Pink Floyd fan I must say that was pretty much perfect! Thanks for posting this.
This song as well as all Brit Floyd is amazing live. If you like PF, you owe it to yourself to go see these guys.... Tighten your seatbelts at 9:40
My favorite album of Pink Floyd!! These guys nail it!
Magnifique travail, quel exploit, bravo PINK FLOYD.....vous êtes les génies incontournables de la planète bleue, vos

This album was Pink Floyd at their peak.
Seen both Brit Floyd and Aussie Floyd a few times each and Brit Floyd are superior in sound and visual effects.!! Since Damian Darlington left Aussie and started Brit Floyd they have gone on to another level..!! SUPERIOR ONE....
These guys bring the studio to the live stage. The detail in capturing the sound is off the hook. They are really good!
I've seen them at least 5 times. Damian is a beast!!!! They all are but he's the director and knows his shit
This is my favorite Gilmour solo and my favorite album by my favorite band
This might be the best video ever in the history of the universe...
Never heard of them before now. They really blew me away. God, I couldn't listen to this nonstop, forever.
Thats a shame Martin, I could.
band favolosa, i Pink Floyd devono essere onorati ad avere delle band che portano avanti i loro capolavori. grandi Brit Floyd.
Gilmour wrote that bass line, and that's a really sick one. Having to sing over it is Geddy Lee territory.

The keyboard and guitar work on Animals far surpass anything they have done. Just amazing.

Out of the millions of videos on TH-cam, Cool Hat Dude chose this one as our Video of the Week and it is being promoted on our website and Facebook page. Brit Floyd ROCKS and we can't wait to see you live in Syracuse !!!
One of my favorite album's.
Can't believe I missed this in my home city...
I could watch this performance over and over and not get tired of it!
This is what doing justice to a legendary track means.
Holy fuck, that's what I call nail the solo!!!!
Eventho' the album was 1st released 4 decades ago, it's still win the hearts of many rock music lovers, I find Pink Floyd kind of rock music genre fit to the modern era too, I just love their unique kind of music.
Amazing guitar solo at the end. Could listen to it over and over.

Saw them a couple weeks ago, did a marvelous job. Saw PF in '94 so I had a good constant to compare them to. Super guitar work, vocals, visuals, etc.
Seen these guy multiple times. As close to the real thing as you can get these days. Bravo!
Fantastic 🎵😊😅 every detail of this mega song was 🎴 played to perfection you guys rule.
As someone who saw Dark Side of the Moon, Animals, and The Wall in concert in the '70s
and '80s I can truly appreciate the mastery of Brit Floyd. Brings me back to my mis-spent youth. Thanks for that.

The ending solo is beautiful. Crazy performance !
