Holy CRAP. I've never, EVER seen this song done to a T *live*. It's probably THE most difficult song to play that Pink Floyd ever made from a technical standpoint -- and these guys not only pulled it off but did it nearly flawlessly. Pink Floyd themselves couldn't play it well during live shows because it was so technically challenging, and Roger Waters himself has said so when asked about it. Bravo, chaps. You've outdone Pink Floyd on this one.
Christopher Sears I agree it’s unbelievably amazing, but let’s cut them a break with the technological difficulties. It was 1977 lol, by this point technology had improved immensely
In 1977 my music teacher played the album Animals. The next saturday I bought that album. It was the beginning of an endless trip through progressive music. I have seen Pink Floyd several times live. I have seen Pink Project (Dutch), they were good. I have seen The Australian Pink Floyd Show, they were better. And now Brit Floyd, this seems amazing. Tickets for Amsterdam are already bought and I must wait untill october. Ticking away, the moments that make up a dull day.....
You are happy... In the fucked off ussr we had to sing idiotic "childish" songs on so called "music" lessons. We hated it all, and I opened Pink Floyd in 18 yo, being a student...
We should all be thankful that we have this band to carry on some of the greatest music ever produced. I'm a huge Floyd fan seen every tour since 75 and these guys are the best Floyd impersonation out there. Thanks Brit Floyd for carrying on this generational music. For the fans who never got to experience a live Pink Floyd performance.
I watched the Australian P.F first, then after 3 years, Brit Floyd, there is almost no difference. Some songs are played in such a way that even the real Floyd has to pay homage to such musicians. Braaaavoo
I saw Australian Pink Floyd (I know, a different band) on a public tv broadcast where they did DSOTM from start to finish. I swear it was almost like listening to the album. These guys here know how 2 as well. This is one of my fave PF songs period and it gets ignored for other songs constantly. Killer!
Just come back from a Brit Floyd concert in Tromsø, Northen Norway. Superb. They absolutely nailed it. Great Gig in the Sky was one of the best I've heard (after Clare Torrey)..
I've seen Pink Floyd 4 times in my life. Starting in 1977 during their promotion of the "Animals" album better known as the, "In the Flesh" tour. They never, ever disappointed me. Simply the best live act, BAR NONE. "Brit Floyd" will and have put many so called "A" Class acts too shame. Their sound, staging, lighting and entire production is 1 not too be missed. "RUN", don't walk when tickets go on sale. You will NOT be disappointed.
Have seen these guys 10 times over the years and can honestly say I've never been disappointed with their shows and every time they get better and better covering so much of PF catalogue and this particular song is no exception 👍👏🎶🎵🎼🎸🎤
Heard Sheep - and particularly the outro - a thousand times, one of the greatest bits of music ever I think. This is a great performance - literally got chills at the end.
Saludos
20k and 300 likes you've gotta be kidding me right now. They are like precision perfectionists to the Floyd. Well at least they have a few of us die hard Floyd fans following... This is so top notch, gives me tears.
Wow I had no idea that these guy's were that good, not sure where I've been, I guess under a rock. This was amazing, to do this song at this level and sound like this live is truly remarkable. Absolutely amazing guy's great job.....
Just saw these guys in Greensboro, NC a few weeks back. They were AWESOME. Sat second row and as a bass player it was great because the low end was insane, but not in a bad way. You could hear all of the instruments and vocals just fine so props to the sound guy. And the female vocals were amazing - especially on Great Gig in The Sky. Can't wait until these guys come back to NC.
This is a touring concert band with an awesome sound and a killer light show. For their 2018 tour they have a vocalist named Eva Avila, whose rendition of Great Gig in the Sky is the best, ever, better than anyone else has ever sung it.
Thanks for the suggestion, you are right, she's amazing, and such an homage to the original. That said, I'm fascinated by Gilmour's 2016 pompeii version, the only one with a male singer I'm aware of: th-cam.com/video/jXRJSyHuG2I/w-d-xo.html
These guys are so good they've moved beyond just your run of the mill Tribute band!! I've seen The "original" Australian Pink Floyd Show (TAPFS) and Brit Floyd all total 7x's!! When you see this band even David Gilmour himself wonders if he's entered the Twilight Zone or having an out of body experience!! * obviously BF is not PF but as Rob Hernandez said (wrote here) a year ago, "Once Pink Floyd/Roger Waters leave this earth... these guys will be the heirs of the Pink Floyd legacy."
These guys are the real sh*t! - I must have seen 'em over a dozen times and they have never disappointed. Edo (2nd Gtr) is a fantastic addition and Ian (Bass) does a really good Roger impression (for a New Yorker!). A fantastic band of musicians and always a wonderful show (lights, films, lasers...everything). I always look forward to them rolling around and I'm gutted that I'm unlikely to see them in 2020. COVID-19: Stay safe, support your friends and neighbours, don't drink bleach, and don't think that this has anything to do with 5G mobile technology - that's just nuts!
this is not a tribute band...it´s a youger Pink Floyd band...i love the way they perform this song in particulary wich it´s complicated in many ways....standig ovation!!!!!
And make no mistake, there is a distinction between tribute bands and cover bands. At the most basic level, cover bands perform popular songs by many different artists, whereas tribute bands usually study the work of a specific group or performer. Brit Floyd is in a category well above any tribute band.
Oh my god!!! Nearly perfect !! I can hear this song thousands of times...The performance by this guys it’s amazing...Anybody know if they are on tour???
i just wish brit floyd would come to turkey like australian pink floyd did, i would be on the front seat as always, and would want you guys' picks like 2 hours till i get it. man pls come here or somewhere close...
The film behind is spectacularly close to how I would have imagined it in places. The old computer machinery during the Lord's Prayer bit reminds me of the cover of Hawkwind's Quark, Strangeness & Charm. Released the same year as I recall, and something that lends itself perfectly to this track.
Guitar and keyboard sounds are so similar to the original record, that's amazing
Holy CRAP. I've never, EVER seen this song done to a T *live*. It's probably THE most difficult song to play that Pink Floyd ever made from a technical standpoint -- and these guys not only pulled it off but did it nearly flawlessly. Bravo, chaps. You've outdone Pink Floyd on this one.
Close but I'm gonna disagree wth you a bit. I wouldn't say it's the hardest song to play.
Christopher Sears ok, so what would you say is technically challenging about it?
Christopher Sears hello, is there anybody in there? I asked you what you thought was challenging technically about this song?
Christopher Sears I agree it’s unbelievably amazing, but let’s cut them a break with the technological difficulties. It was 1977 lol, by this point technology had improved immensely
I would say it's Gilmours best guitar work in pf
In 1977 my music teacher played the album Animals. The next saturday I bought that album. It was the beginning of an endless trip through progressive music. I have seen Pink Floyd several times live. Tot dan ;) Heb ook een Pink Project optreden gezien met The Wall in Arnhem.
You are happy... In the fucked off ussr we had to sing idiotic "childish" songs on so called "music" lessons. We hated it all, and I opened Pink Floyd in 18 yo, being a student...
Brit Floyd is amazingly talented … I appreciate that they keep PF alive for us in 2023
We should all be thankful that we have this band to carry on some of the greatest music ever produced. I'm a huge Floyd fan seen every tour since 75 and these guys are the best Floyd impersonation out there. Thanks Brit Floyd for carrying on this generational music. For the fans who never got to experience a live Pink Floyd performance.
I would not call these guys a cover band, cover bands are not of this caliber I would call them a tribute band. They are that good.
Well, actually...
This isn't a tribute band any more than modern orchestras are tribute bands to the great composers. This is a whole level up from a tribute band.
Anybody calling these guys a 'cover band' is an insult.
Rob Hernandez that’s what they are Brit Floyd the tribute band.
Agree. Recently saw them do the wall and they were very good.
One of the hardest Pink Floyd to perform live , they nailed it 👏
Thanks for keeping Pink Floyd music alive 🙏
I am listening to Pink Floyd since I'm 12 y.o. Always coming back to this Version of Sheep. Thanks Brit Floyd for being kind of reincarnation.
Great to know the music of Pink Floyd is in such safe hands
This is the best homage I have ever seen to another band. This is incredible. Bravo Brit Floyd.
Fellow Floydian since 79, and i approve of this band!! Wow, blew my socks off!!!!
This song is a masterpiece. Brilliantly performed. Just superb.
This is just mindblowing. This song is really difficult to be played live, and these guys simply nailed it.
Animals, one of the masterpieces of Pink Floyd......and this Brit Floyd Band, pays a real and spectacular tribute to Pink......Simply great
Once Pink Floyd/Roger Waters leave this earth these guys will be the heirs of the Pink Floyd legacy,
The ending never gets old.
Gilmour...genius
Britt Floyd is a fabulous band. One of the greatest group of musicians I’ve ever had the pleasure of listening to. These guys are so tight!
I watched the Australian P.F first, then after 3 years, Brit Floyd, there is almost no difference. Some songs are played in such a way that even the real Floyd has to pay homage to such musicians. Braaaavoo
Perfection and what a light show!!!! 👏👏👏
Absolutely world class, musicians, and performance
Gracias por mantener bien alto la bandera Floydiana de esta espectacular manera. Impresionante version. Saludos Floydianos. Gustav🍷.
My absolute favourite song from my favourite Pink Floyd album!
absolutely and utterly amazing...
damn....
I saw Australian Pink Floyd (I know, a different band) on a public tv broadcast where they did DSOTM from start to finish. I swear it was almost like listening to the album. These guys here know how 2 as well. This is one of my fave PF songs period and it gets ignored for other songs constantly. Killer!
the Gilmour triads at the end are so majestic.great great job on this song
Just come back from a Brit Floyd concert in Tromsø, Northen Norway. Superb. They absolutely nailed it. Great Gig in the Sky was one of the best I've heard (after Clare Torrey)..
These guy’s killed it!!👏🤘
Incredible. And the voice too ...
I've got tickets to see them June 23rd in Stockton, Ca. They r very good
My absolute favorite Floyd album.
Me too❤
This is beyond great....Everything is spot on. Bravo.
I've seen Pink Floyd 4 times in my life. Starting in 1977 during their promotion of the "Animals" album better known as the, "In the Flesh" tour. They never, ever disappointed me. Simply the best live act, BAR NONE.

"RUN", don't walk when tickets go on sale. You will NOT be disappointed.
"Sheep" debería ser Patrimonio de la Humanidad y objeto de estudio obligatorio para todo alumno de artes musicales
I must say that is truly an incredible TRIBUTE of a great song INCREDIBLE , thank you my friends FROM Costa Mesa California THANK YOU!
Pink Floyd would be proud of that .... A really difficult song to replicate ... Bravo !!
I got goose bumps listening to this. This guy can sing too.
I love Brit Floyd -- see them every time they perform in NYC. Just absolutely fantastic!!
pink floyd best band ever! Thanks for great performance !
Have seen these guys 10 times over the years and can honestly say I've never been disappointed with their shows and every time they get better and better covering so much of PF catalogue and this particular song is no exception 👍👏🎶🎵🎼🎸🎤
Great performance
Best ending to a song ever. I saw Brit in Augusta and it was the best concert I’ve ever seen
Simply astounding!!!!!!!!!!!! Sheep is my all time favourite floyd track. What a great job!!!!
The Brits do near-full justice to this fabulous song (best on the album). Bravo, Damian and Co.
I’ve always loved Waters’ use of the octave throughout Floyd’s history. It’s a theme that’s worked really well through many songs.
Soooooo. Great
Masterful
Thank you, greatest band on earth
Cheers to Pink, & Brit Floyd
You all made the ride bearable
I have been lucky enough to see both these & the Aussie Floyd show they are both excellent
I wonder if Gilmour would join The Brit Floyd once for a concert... if to the one I'm there!!
This song is one of the hardest pink Floyd song to sing it but they nailed it
Heard Sheep - and particularly the outro - a thousand times, one of the greatest bits of music ever I think. This is a great performance - literally got chills at the end.
Thank You gentlemen for your Professionalism. Fabulous and precise sonics. You wish more live content was this way.
Saw them in Midland Texas a few weeks ago...........Excellent !!!! Pity they didn't play SHEEP, But the rest was spot on.
Absolutely awesome!! Brilliant guitar playing by Damien.
Outstanding performance.
the best PF cover band I have ever heard! very fine...
Dang. This is frickin' excellent!
To call them a cover or tribute band doesn’t do them justice , Without a doubt the best band I have seen.
Big fan from Nepal🤟🤟
the best vocoder i've ever heard
Phenomenal job guys, keep these concerts coming, you guys are amazing
Listening to "Sheep" puts me on another reality plane.
Amazing Brit Floyd !!!! Best Pink Floyd Cover !!!
This band are epic. See you in Birmingham 2019 guys. CANNOT WAIT!!!!

Animals the best album of Pink Floyd
Hell yea. You guys sound great. The singer really nailed the tone and angst in Roger's voice on this song. Very few can recreate that. Good job!!!
20k and 300 likes you've gotta be kidding me right now.
They are like precision perfectionists to the Floyd.
Well at least they have a few of us die hard Floyd fans following... This is so top notch, gives me tears.
Wow! What a smokin' cover of this song. Tremendous.
5:25 i love these guitar's notes
Wow I had no idea that these guy's were that good, not sure where I've been, I guess under a rock. This was amazing, to do this song at this level and sound like this live is truly remarkable. Absolutely amazing guy's great job.....
The best cover band in the world
I must see these guys one day soon. Had no idea how good they were.

Just WOW 😮🤯 Amazing 🔥

Brilliant as always!
Awesome as always!
can't wait till u guys come to St Pete Florida this June, what a show it was last year
More studio version than studio and maybe more Pink Floyd than Pink Floyd®. Awesome band!
Wow! That was awesome!
fantastici come sempre! e bravo Edoardo!
Love the duelling stratacasters
They are the best

Great sound.
Thumbs up. I already know it's going to be good
