The more I hear Dogs, the more I realize that could be Pink Floyd's ultimate masterpiece. The melodic dual guitar leads beginning at 5:44 give me goosebumps.

It's funny you say that because I'm thinking the same exact thing. I came across Brit Floyd and thought let me listen to Dogs. I love the entire Animals album. Personally, Sheep has always been my favorite song on the album even though I consider the entire album to be one long story. It amazes me how deep of a song Dogs is. There's so many layers to it. Each instrument sounds incredible and as a band, Brit Floyd, does an amazing job keeping the Pink Floyd legacy alive.
True, there is something about dogs.

I am 41 and have only recently been exposed to Pink Floyd. I always knew of the songs like money, brick in the wall and comfortably numb that were released on the radio which I didn't mind. However about a year ago I heard Time. That was a masterpiece. That lead me on to the great gig in the sky, pigs, dogs, sheep, run like hell, us and them and a few others. I cant stop playing it. I even go to bed with the song in my head playing and cant turn it off. Cant complain.
P.s This cover band brit floyd does an exceptional job.

I remember hearing that riff at 5:43 in. It's the lead part that made me want to play guitar. It literally blew my mind the first time I heard it. They do one hell of a job nailing it here. The tone is spot on!!
As a long time fan of Pink Floyd, only one conclusion, simply brilliant.
They are the heir to Pink Floyd! I’ve seen them almost every year this century and cannot wait to see them again in June in San Diego. I feel bad for early Pink Floyd fans that think the live shows are over.

With the "Dogs" here, BRIT FLOYD proved their title once and for all - the best Tribute-band ever existed. They are not Pink Floyd successors, on contrary, they are true lovers, fans and guardians of their music, the most powerful carriers of the Pink Floyd's flame.
That is why I pledge for all those who, up to now, maybe misunderstood the true meaning of the Tribute-music creation, to encourage Brit Floyd in their work, more to that - to properly guide them into a future, so that we can at least have a chance to prolong live-enjoying one of our dreams, despite the fact that Pink Floyd is an untouchable rock greatness.
Srecko Zitnik very true, seen them twice now and already booked my third ticket for next March. they're the best BAND touring right now, not just best tribute/cover band and I'm thankful they exist

I hate to say this but if you listen side by side Brit is actually better than Pink Floyd. David Gilmore is the Bomb when it comes to the ax but Brit has gelled the sound to perfection!

thewordofgord yep, the guitar work especially in this song is terrific and wonderfully performed by Bobby. Many a person I know doesnt appreciate Animals as I do and it gets overlooked in favour of the 'main line' Floyd recordings, when it is in fact a great listen and watching the Brits perform it you get even more inside info on the compexity of just this track. Brit Floyd again at the extraordinary best..........
Dogs is one of the most underrated Floyd classics, no question.
I think the guitar work as a whole is the best on Animals.

An awesome performance, and for me the best line-up the band has had. Bobby and Damien at their very best!!!!!!!!!!! Vocals drums, bass, keyboards and backing just perfect.
I try go see these guys every year when they come to Charlotte, NC. Nov 16th 2017 is their return to the Queen City but this year I may not be able to make the show unfortunately. UNBELIEVABLE SHOW!!! all I say is GO!!!

Dogs and echoes prove to me why Floyd was such a fantastic band. Both songs are more than 15 minutes yet hold themselves together so well. But “Dogs” is possibly the Floyd song I could show to those who only know them for their radio tunes, this one gives you chills.
My 100th time watching this in the last 2 months, saw them live a couple months ago doing this , this version is better than any that has been performed by anybody, sorry floyd or otherwise, what a show they put on that night!

I think you may be right. This may be the finest piece of music Pink Floyd ever did. It had contributions from everyone and the lyrics were first rate and the guitar was absolutely world class. This may be the piece we hear 100 years from now, being done note for note, just like a 200 year old piece of classical music. It's that good. Just sublime......

I've been to two Brit Floyd concerts in Amsterdam in 2019 and 2022. I hope I will be there again in 2023. Unfortunately on both occasions they didn't play Dogs.
saw these guys here in San Antonio just a few weeks ago,,,,,hooollleeeeeyyy crap. it was phenomenal, my only regret is that they didn't play near enough off of animals.but if you have a chance to go....go man go!

I saw these cats in Chicago 3/15. They were amazing, if they come back next year or year after year I'll be there. I'd be nice if they played "Animals" in its entirety; my favorite Pink Floyd album.

I saw these guys last year at the sage Gateshead they are the best floyd tribute band out there! Going back this December to do it all again. Saw aus floyd 3 years back but not as good as Brit!!!

I saw PF during their tour 1977ish (man I'm getting old). I however saw it at the Milwaukee, WI Stadium show. I saw and heard the Pig blow up and then ran and picked up a huge piece out in the parking lot; no, I did not have tickets. I was 14 years old then. For obvious reasons, I preceded to get rushed (lol; a bit scary) however things remained mostly calm. What happened next? I kept a nice sized piece for myself trading a huge piece for 2 tickets to get in (scalper) and then another smaller piece I traded for some weed!! ~it was an awesome night!!! :D
Super sad note: February 1981 (17 years old) I went into the Marine Corp... during that time my mother's basement flooded (nooooooo!!) she took all the soaked items out of the trunk I had stashed there and determined that this piece of pinkish plastic was simply junk and threw it away!!! What!?!?! Oh my god!!!!!!!!!!! My mother hurt me more than she could ever have known!! * Pink Floyd remains and has always been my favorite band; so many great songs!!

This is probably the best cover of Dogs ever, sounds very similar to the original in many ways and I think that is a good thing, to try and recreate such a master piece of a song takes some patience and skill ...hats of to these guys for nailing it .... so when they turn there back you, you'll get the chance to put the knife in 😋

Agree...... I dont know how many times I have gone in at that point to watch this solo............ Bobby plays it to absolute perfection!! Soooooooo accurate and with a feeling even the original (when you go back and listen to it) struggles to match. I've never heard a Telecaster sound so damned good!

I catch Brit Floyd everytime they come around and I am slowly converting people to accepting a "Tribute Band". People say, "Really? I've seen tribute bands and...eh..." Not these guys. Not these guys at all. I would say that they do Pink Floyd better than Pink Floyd does Pink Floyd lol. They are the epitome of Perfection.
I saw Pink Floyd in 1994. These guys are as close to the real thing as you can get. At this point I'd rather seem them then Roger Waters. I saw them this past March and they were absolutely incredible. I'm grateful they did Dogs on this tour.
@@davebaker7503 Yeah, I saw Waters in Philly a few years ago and almost walked out. Just play music. It was politics all night. I listen to Floyd to get away from all that shit... I don't know. I knew he was a nut going in but my buddy had tickets and it IS Pink Floyd so, I went. Very frustrating show.

Dogs is the ultimate accomplishment. Their Mona Lisa. Yes it's sad and yes its pessimistic. But it makes you feel every ounce of it.
Absolutely stunning! I've listened to Animals ever since it came out. Has always been one of my favorite Floyd albums. They nail it! Dogs give me chills. My favorite Floyd tune and this is a stellar version. Not a big fan of tribute bands, but this is one I would see
When you leave you will think Pink has been reincarnated! The critics say their problem is they have perfected the sound actually too good if that is possible. Some songs and I have been to 5 Pink FLoyd concerts and have all their albums and still ware them out Brit is and I hate to say this is better and more entertaining on most of the songs if they only had the complete light show would be a sin!

I saw Pink Floyd in the late 70s in Houston stadium they did the Animal albumwith an encore of money. The animal album started with a giant helium pig coming from behind a building and went across the whole stadium on a guy wire. Ahh the days when I was young!!!

SEEN THESE GUYS BRIT FLOYD (and T.A.P.F.S.) - 7 TIMES IN THE LAST 15 YEARS... PERFECTION!. *Anyone who calls these guys a cover band should be slapped!! lol - The Australian Pink Floyd (now also Brit Floyd; they have split into two bands) are the only tribute act to play for (and with) members of Pink Floyd; in 1996, they performed at David Gilmour's 50th birthday party.

I just want to clarify that these guys are the Brit Floys not the Aussie Floyd, They used to be part of the Aussie Floyd but they broke up into two bands, so now we have the Brit Floyd and The Australian Pink Floyd Show, Just saw the Aussies perform last month and they are as good as these guys.
I have seen both groups several times and they put on a great show every time.

To add some additional information, Brit Floyd was actually Aussie Floyd's North American touring band during the 2008 (Wall Tour), 2009, and 2010 (final North American tour - after split formally announced). Every member or Brit Floyd you see in this video played on those tours with the exception of the keyboard player, Rob Stringer, during the 2008 tour (Jason Sawford of Aussie Floyd toured that year).
One more thing, Damian Darlington of Brit Floyd was a member of the Australian Pink Floyd during 1996 when they performed for David Gilmour at his 50th.

This band adding the animation and light show; UNBELIEVABLE!! David Gilmour himself has said, "Seeing these guys in concert is the closest he'd ever come to hearing and seeing Pink Floyd live while sitting in the audience!!" (noting: yes, as I and others have said, "This is not the line-up that played at his 50th Birthday party." - they have split into 2 seperate groups - "TAPFS" and "Brit Floyd") - I'm not sure what happened. * Did they break up or was it to share (lessen?) the enormous amounts of shows they were playing?

They don't do dogs anymore what a shame one of the best songs Floyd has ever done just my opinion I have seen Brit now more than I have seen Pink Floyd> Briit is Spot on ! Awesome Band!
