Rhitom sarkar is an A grade artist of AIR, National and State scholarship holder, ICCR, EZCC, Spicmacay empanelled artist, Sur-O -Mani awardee, First class first Gold medalist, Sangeet Bhaskar and Sangeet Yuba Ratna awardee. He has done many programme and workshop in India and abroad in Countries like USA, Canada, Germany, Denmark, Singapore etc. He has many albums released from India and Canada like Enchanting evening, Serenity,Delta Raga, Divinity and many more.
He learn under Pt. Debashish Bhattacharya and later from Pt. Shyamal Chatterjee a disciple of Ustad Md. Dabir Khan Saab and Pt. Ravi Shankar.
𝐃𝐫. 𝐓𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐬 𝐏𝐚𝐮𝐥 :
Dr. Tapas Paul is a frontline tabla player of India. He is PHD in music w.e.f 2008, Also he is author of two musical book, one is in Hindi and another is in Odia. Name of the books are "Uttar Bhartiya Sangeet tatha odisi Sangeet talon ka manthan" another is "Taal paricharcha o samadhan". Tapas is an "A" grade artist of All India radio. He is a well known musician as a solo, accompany, fusion, music composer.
