I had two over the years ; a 1949 plunger and a 1956 s a . Both were heavy old girls , underpowered but very reliable and cheap at £5 plus a chorduroy cap in 1963 and a dear £13 in '65 respectively . the first got nicked and the thief broke his neck bcs he wouldn't have known about my neglected brakes ; the second sold for a profit of £2 and served its new owner well for years till it was hit by a lorry and sadly died . Everything about them was over-engineered and high quality typical of British products of the 50's .
My word thats lovely
Quality bike.
