Sabine could you elaborate on how to tackle the Nervousness when starting something new or facing obstacles especially in the job search process after a big career gap ? How to thrive in uncertainty/ambiguity & increase our self belief ...
Hello Mohib, thank you so much for your comment and question. Regarding nervousness, I would like to share two ideas with you: 1) I would like to offer you a re-frame/different perspective. What if you don't see it as something to tackle but as something that is your ally in a situation. It's a sign to be at your best, to get prepared ... and to then follow through accordingly. Ask yourself: How would somebody who successfully navigates through the situation behave, what would (s)he think? Typically, it becomes much easier to handle when we are in motion, when we do something and are less in our head just thinking about it. 2) I would like to suggest to explore the idea of a 'growth mindset' and how it can help you venture into something new. Here is a video that you might find useful: th-cam.com/video/jxzVxIAKJH8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=8iNDq3s7KFLDHpNs My best wishes to you. All the best. Sabine
Thanks so much for stopping by. Let me know which of these ideas resonates the most with you. I would love to hear.
