You are right on track about looking at body lines and gaps. One thing I always look for is any aftermarket electronics, which can really end up being a headache if they weren't installed properly or professionally.
Hydrogen cars are the best way forward. The only problem is not many Hydrogen producing plants at present. I watched a TH-cam video about JCB, the construction co. and they are building machines that run on it. They say it should be cheaper than gas but depends on how much tax is added. Another great video.
No, sorry. There not going to work. It costs too much to remove Hydrogen from water. Plus it take a LOT of hydrogen to operate a car. Same with Natrural gas lighter molecules equates to more needed. No one will pay $10.00 per gal (equivalnet) to get 20 mpg.
@@stuartbailey3824 Only if Hydrogen is produced by Nat Gas reformation is it economical, by electrolysis you might as well put that electrical energy directly into a battery.
Saw that the 2008 chrysler 300 was for dealers and dismantlers only. around here they usually have them in a different auctions set up for them only. Yes, it seems the price tags of used cars are coming down around here too for similar used cars like these.
Nexo is ok for Cali. You would be hard pressed to find a fueling station in IND. Fills fast but good luck finding a H2 station. Run away from that one. Has two 14 gallon tanks at 10,000 psi.
@@DarkFlamage crash tests were acceptable, but with two 14 gallon tanks at 10K psi a piece. I wouldn’t want to be near that if it were to have a catastrophic failure.
Nexo is a Hydrogen fueled SUV, what SHELL hydrogen stations were in California has been closed from what i know as Shell pulled out of that program, the other Fuel Cell car company is Toyota who sells/ leases the Mirai, Toyota is being sued by Mirai owners as they have a car with hardly any refueling stations, a car that was originally MSRP$60,000 now worth around $10,000 to $12,000last generation of Mirai was built off the LEXUS 500 body.
I am trying to find public auctions in my area, but how do I go about finding these auctions and learning about the bidding process. I just want to find one decent car or truck and repair it to resell it.... Any information you can give me would be sincerely appreciated.

You should try to snatch up a Pontiac Vibe GT. Buy American, they say. 😘 It is actually a Toyota Voltz Z but with a manual tranny. That means the JDM version is worse, except for the mileage.
This car is probably here because of 1 of 2 reasons the cost of the hydrogen or the inaccessible unround of hydrogen so if you can't buy it you can't drive it

Tap the bumpers with your foot, solid means probably no damages, clanking means you need a new bumper and cyls.
Thanks again for your time.
My pleasure!
