I just got Lyney, and went to pull for his weapon, but instead got a 2nd Chasca bow! Lol but I'm still happy. R2 Vulture bow makes my Chasca stronger. As long as it isn't an Aquila Favonia 🤓
I love his character but I'm the most skill issued gamer to ever exist, so never getting to use Lyney on floor 12 of the abyss hurts. I'm going to go for c2r1 this rerun and hope that money can help mitigate those skill issues lol. Thank you for the guide and the detailed rotations! I don't think I'll be executing them with the skill you have but I can sure try.
Yep, unlike other characters you don't have to wait for a burst or skill, you can charge attack at will. On top of that, his skill and burst also do huge damage
one thing i rlly rlly like about lyney is that all of his talents are really useful and powerful. you get to experience a character which relies in EVERY talent they possess. his charged attack is as important as his skill and burst as they ALL do very significant damage.
Something to add is that with ororon he have a very good option for overload teams that buff him a lot as is very cheap (also oloron have a taunt that's more consistent than lyney's taunt). I like this team mainly cause it allows a easy long range playstyle (with oloron taunt), more field time to lyney (more team to take advantage of bennet uptime), and lyney dosent feel as fragile in comparison to use him with furina.
i saw the goublet in the first build and thought you were recommending deepwood memories on him at first lol,this is what being sleep deprived does to a mf anyways,that'd be the build you'd recommend on him in the alternative universe where juice is an emilie glazer instead of a lyney glazer

I got Lyney when he first came out but despite loving him, I never mastered his rotation enough to make him do damage. I'm going back and learning how to play my characters (mostly to get my self out of the 'roll on every banner' trap) and since I got his weapon trying to pull for Arlecchino's polearm, I thought I'd play with him again and he is so great! With his cat damage I can get 160k per charge attack which is huge for my account. thanks for the info! I'll be seeing how much of this i can apply to get that number even higher ^^

One thing I never see anyone mention - Sojourner is a great budget set for him. Even if you're not far into the game or farming, it's likely you can patch together a good set and use the 4pc

I just did a single 10 pull at 4 pity to try and get Ororun, and BAM lyney is there, (50/50 as well). And then i thought i might as well do a pull on the weapon banner for memes and got skyward harp and his weapon in 11 pulls 💀....Am I a lyney main now..???? Im in disbelief lol. he just magicked his way onto my account
Juice, this level of glaze enough is enough for a Crispy Kreme’s yearly usage. On a real note, you actually did convince me to get Lyney next rerun maybe since I just have an aqua lying around gathering dust. Unfortunately there’s a neuv and mauvika on the horizon so still a skip for now.
I somehow once got a 5-star bow with attack as sub state (the only 5-star weapon I have), I equip it to Lyney, and I don't know how if "Wondere's Troups" is what I am using with somehow goor crit rate + crit DMG sets (Crit Rate 60% and Crit DMG 130%+). He's able to do 20K+ DMG and sometimes 50K+ DMG I cannot dream to pull for his 5-star weapon, I learned of a free craftable bow weapon in Inazuma, "Hamayumi Diagram", I am thinking of equip it to Lyney, is it work it?
Maybe it's me, but it feels like there is a notable gap amongst genshin CC's giving out multiple team rotations for a character. Seems like a move to fill in a useful niche.

Is Lyney bad for reverse melt? Just started Genshin when it dropped on Xbox and my roster of characters to build 2 teams is very limited. I just got him randomly very early in my pulls and Rosaria plus Dragon bane so thats why im asking.
I used to hate Lyney and regretted pulling him... that's it until I got his weapon on his rerun with Arlecchino. It does make a big difference imo. Or maybe I just got used to his cringe play style lol. Either way, now I really enjoy playing him. Great guide!

My Lyney has 2.4k attack, 60/240 CV, signature weapon r1 on him. Yet he doesn't do more than 200k damage how? Someone please help. Triple crowned as well

Can you use Sucrose instead of Kazuha or Xilonen in Vape Lyney? She provides VV and an EM buff, plus she can hold TTDS?
