    Welcome back, will watch the video today. Tassy tiger snakes are pretty special. I encountered one fat one plonked in the middle of the track on King Island. Would not move for us. Very thick scrub either side of the track meant we just waited for it to move.

    Fantastic video of a magnificent wilderness. Spectacular! Still haven’t fixed that squeaking bottom bracket though. I only heard it for 30 minutes but Between that and the wind, I think I’ve gone a bit loopy. Maybe that’s what I need to go adventuring like you……

    • @ChrisRishworth
      @ChrisRishworth  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks. Great place except for the wind. I have fixed the bottom bracket on a number of occasions. First bit of moisture, and it starts again. Big annoyance to me for sure.

      @ChrisRishworth  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks, Mark. Yes, A1 with 100 to 400 mm G lens and 14mm ultra wide G lens. Should be able to get some good footage with this camera.🙂

    • @markharwood
      @markharwood 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You mean 100-400 G MASTER lens - I just got this lens myself about a month ago for my A7Siii - you will love it. I look forward to seeing your carry for it on the bike.

    • @ChrisRishworth
      @ChrisRishworth  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Mark Harwood Yes, do you have the tele converter 1.4 or 2 that a must for me. Yes going to get the Lauf Carbonara forks to take the bumps out with large front handle bar bag. Still lots to do. You must enjoy your camera as well. Just Mt biked to Montezuma falls Tasmania.

    • @markharwood
      @markharwood 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Don't have the tele converters though might consider in the future. Probably the 1.4 so as to maintain autofocus performance and less light loss. The clear image zoom in the camera is usable in 4K video shooting.

      Thanks, Henry. I do have a knee problem, which is very annoying. It won't stop me just the same. A new camera is waiting for me when I get back to the mainland. Sony alpha a1 with two good lenses. This will make the quality lot's better. Cheers, Chris.

    Great stuff Chris! My mother in law was staying with us at Christmas and I mentioned that I’d love to ride western Tassie. She said “You’ll never do that!” So needless to say now I’m 100% determined to do it! This video was even more great inspiration. Hey by the way, are Muru still selling bikes? They don’t reply to my emails and I’d love to buy a 29’er from them…

      Yes, they didn't respond to my email either.
      Area59 rings a bell or something similar they go by now. I'm not sure exactly what they are doing. There's still the owners group on Facebook, which you can get some answers to. Best of luck, cheers, Chris.

    Love seeing your videos mate. Been looking forward to them. I lived over in Hobart for a couple of years and traveled all over the island. By the way how do you find the Jones bars on your bike. I have a 27.5 mtb and thinking of fitting some for my touring?.👍

    • @ChrisRishworth
      @ChrisRishworth  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks. The Jones are good, but I probably prefer touring bars for the positions you can push up hills with. Jones have a great place to attach bags to. That's the main reason I'm keeping them.
